Every week I'm so excited to see where the story goes, but this episode blew me away. Obviously everybody did a terrific job, but Dolly's conversation with the Spider Prince was the absolute highlight

I'm late this week but this has been my favourite episode yet!
My favourite scene in the show so far was I's conversation with Parvus in episode 2, but "Brandon" and Vim may just have finally knocked it off it's perch. Had me laughing out loud! Fantastic improv from Harry and Ben 😂

It's ironic to me how Raidion (Brandon), who's had a great difficulty in interacting with people (usually) suddenly has great "chemistry" with Vim (even though it's a deception)😂
I think I'm gonna need to rewatch the last few episodes. Listening to Harry do the recap at the beginning, I realized I hadn't really been paying attention AT ALL while listening to the last one lol
Like when you read a book and suddenly realise you need to go back 3 pages!
The interaction with Vim was great especially how everyone else was laughing the entire time. I want to know what's in the Spider Prince's silver pouch.

This was an amazing episode. I love seeing the character dynamics in the team and how they handle things so differently but it all works.
Good show! Would be a nice touch if whenever someone rolls a total of 6 they get inspiration.

The theme music usually sounds adventurous, but after that ending it sound a lot more like a funeral dirge.

I don't think Radion dropped his disguise so he should still look like the builder to Brunhilde and the guards.
I think when he revealed himself he *wanted* to be seen as himself at that point, so we can assume he dropped the spell without Ben saying anything (which would technically be an action, but given the relative looseness of the combat rounds in this initiative, it can probably slide)
Did Dolly want them to get caught? Setting the fire while they were still scouting and then sending a guard to block the only exit from the plaza.
I think it's just lack of forethought. She set the fire because things weren't going well so she decided oh fuck it!
I believe the guard thing was just to keep another person away from the action.
It being something of a good idea makes it better to motivate them to do so. Unfortunately you are right that it will trip them up later.
The thing is this often happens in D&D. Nobody cam see everything and it's easy to second guess other people.
The fire thing wasn't a big deal but I do hope (haven't even quite finished the episode) that honest mistake with the guard doesn't cost them.
@@MorinehtarTheBlue I guess they were told to do it that night, but they could have all just retreated for an hour or two(in game) and sent I (the character, not the me) back with a bunch of alchemists fire and fuses later.
I know it is a show so they probably didn't want to spend extra time faffing on it.

Clearly if you want to Homebrew saying that critical fail or a critical success on a skilled check is an auto fail or Auto succeed that's fine you get the choice it's not bothering me but just to know rules as written skill checks do not critically succeed or fail
I so enjoy watching you guys play - i love the world-building, the storytelling, even the banter, but man....i wish the swearing would cut down a bit - i watch/listen with my son, and the f-bombs are getting to be a bit much - would love to see this story through, but may not continue to watch if it stays on this track - just not the family-friendly d&d i'm hoping/looking for
