BF is meant to be about squad play, it badly needs squad chat and ability to stick with same squad when game ends if you want, lack of this removes the whole concept of squad play. Rediculous ommission.
I had sent a super chat but I’m not sure you saw it. I’ve been using the NTW-50 with close quarter sights. It feel so much like the pre nerfed martini of BF1 if been having such a good time with it. I’d love for you to try it out and see what I mean.
I don't find the maps to be either, there's always be plenty going on, and you can just call Inna vehicle of you want to get somewhere faster. Fans of the franchise wanted bigger maps, begged for bigger maps with more players, now they've got it they use it as a way to beat the game
The biggest problem with the large maps is the deployment screen. You can't choose the place you want to spawn because they're all stacked on top of each other... I hate this "drone view" they implemented on BF1, but on BF42 it's even worse because of the map size, you can't zoom in on it because they don't want you to use the deployment screen to spot enemies. I would much rather have the zoomable (is that a word?) 2D map deploy screen of BF4
4 new specialists - my guess is something like this: 1st will centre around mobility (like McKay and Sundance) 2nd focused around recon/sniping (like Casper and Paik) 3rd focused around heavy weapons/anti vehicle (like Boris and Rao) 4th centred around healing (like Angel and Falk)
Conquest ,breakthrough and, Rush should be standard game modes for Battlefield. For the life of me I don't understand what dice was thinking when they made Rush a limited-time mode it seems like they ruined everything that made Battlefield , Battlefield!!!!

The new specialist should be a repairer. Would be so cool to repair the vehicles and air vehicles, especially the turrets. Personally I’d like to repair this freaking game.

Rush needs to get the main mode again, with maps designed/remodeled for the mode and some good balancing.. I find myself getting 2-3 KD on rush and - KD on conquest and breakthrough, there is no structure in those modes just straight up chaos…

Game is far more playable now than before. Still miss the 4 class system tho, they could easily divide the Specialist's gear among the 4 categories to use and just boot the characters to Hazard Zone.
Hazard zone is fun u should do a vid on that mode but I wish the key cards actually had a purpose like you could unlock a gun that you can use but when u die in game you loose it or somthing
- no voicechat - no real scareboard - you cant write anything to The enemy - The fps suk for most ppl - when the Map ends you cant choose to stay in The same squad. - probably a lot more issues Feels like an Arcade game that Will be forgotten as soon as a decent fps game releases :)
This is an excellent premise for new tools and ideas for our beloved BF. Although I see it as a warmup to the next BF. Gameplay, special abilities, core mechanics and overall enjoyability being ironed out for what? FOR VIETNAM SON THAT'S WHAT. LET'S GO DICE
Despite all the flaws with the all-out warfare game mode, this game is worth buying purely for the portal experience. They've enabled XP / rank progression for the pre-made game modes on portal which make it worthwhile. I also reckon the guns feel better in portal than the actual game. Love the content, Jack!
Portal so far is the only smooth experience I can have with the game, the stanard 128 players mode runs very poorly on my rig. The 64 players mode runs just fine but it's still a pain to play (I bought the game because it said I could play it comfortably at medium settings... I can barely play at low) but one thing that struck me is that BFV seems much more immersive and epic, while this even in portal mode seems empty. Music comes and goes every now and then and just stays for a while, the destruction isn't even close to BFV, you can shoot people accross maps with SMGs (so why should I use an AR?) and idk. I kind of like it anyway but I feel like BFV was many, many steps ahead. (And yes I loved BFV even when people were hating it)
Just keep climb in abandoned buildings and find if they let you hear mice and emitters. Bullpup machine pistol in .45 win mag? Larry Vickers in [retirement]? Faking a prison maybe military style? Death camp marketed as part if a healthcare industry/town?

I disagree, even portal isn’t worth it because all the bugs.

Rush mode always played twice on a map. Once you attacked and then you defended. Here it’s one or the other over and over and over. 😑
