I will happily be one of those to say this game is not nailing anything for me. Game modes are lacking. Hit detection is seriously some of the worst I have dealt with in a game in years. Seriously hope we have some patches to come soon or I will happily remove this one from the hard drive and not look back. Very disappointed.

Snipers need marksman bonus back… so underwhelming without it
Fortunately they don't have it, sniping is rewarding in itself do not need marksman bonus to reward campers.

BF1 easily I jumped on it a few weeks back and hit a 28KS so quickly the sniping is so damm clean in that game

Bfbc2 for me. Faster bulletspeeds, not as much bullet drop as if you were throwing a rock. In that game it was satisfying.
back in the days i really liked the sniper gameplay from the hardline beta. was my first battlefield game i played multiplayer from. that's how i got really into battlefield and this game doesn't even come close to previous titles when it comes to sniping with bf1 and v being my favourites

I'm already over bored with 2042 maps. Don't find any pleasure to continue playing on them. And only one map ( also very open space ) on march won't do much. So, nothing drives me back on these maps. Can't be the only one

I really struggled playing this recently I feel like my settings were changed on me again, so I spent last night with my Xmas double snd went thru it all again, I will hands down say that if you changed the right analog threshold to as low as you can and only the right one it insanely helps the recoil control as you have the push it more for it to move to the sensitivity you have set, since then it's been an absolute blast
So what specific control setting did you go down to?

I think Boxing day is called that because back in the day when only the rich could eat a decent xmas dinner the day after xmas they used to box up their leftovers and hand out to the poor so that they could eat well too, hence 'Boxing day'
I donzt like how its being repeatedly said the suppressors arenzt working... but that's literally 10Meters... realistically literally audible that range. This gives heavy suppressors purpose, pure stealth but even lower damage

I think it's just me, but coming from the world wars (BF1 & BFV) has messed up my sniping on BF2042. Does anyone have any tips I'm not sure if they were trying to bring BF3 & BF4 sniping back, but I can't get my groove back. A tip or two would be great thanks.

I don't get this community. I swear it's the same pattern for every BF game. New game comes out: everybody shits on it and praises the previous one. Now their talking about how good BF5 was, and by the time the next game comes out everybody is gonna be in love with 2042.

This BF is the best BF since BF3/BF4 for me. No doubt. After Update 3 and onwards hit reg has been better than all former BFs. I dominate in almost every match and always finish in top 3 when it comes to kills/assists. Sounds to be like some people are just not used to BF being this fast. Gunplay is on COD level, almost. This BF will be the best BF in terms of EVERYTHING going forward. Tons of content incoming and battle passes. I could not care less what other people think I'm having fun and getting instant matches regardless of mode.

The maps bore me in this game now or rather the map rotation. I played for a few hours yday with my buddy… had 4 games without leaving the server… got hourglass 3 games out of the 4 madness
The maps are like a doctors office. White, basic shapes, not a lot of different decor and sterile.

Try playing on console as a sniper vs a pc sniper. I’d call that experience far from nailed.
Pfft. I beat pc snipers at distance on the regular with the AC-42, and I'm on console.
The ac42 is one of the most satisfying guns I've used in a while across the board with BF and vanguard

I played thid few hours today and nocrash on main game. Some display twiching bug but not gamebraking.
