      For the record, and I’m a black male from the Midwest who grew up on hip hop (the full spectrum of the music and the other elements), Eminem is one of the greatest rappers of all time! Definitely top 10. Not all of his albums have replay value for me, but his first three, his technical skill, and his highlights put him at legend status (put detroit on the map, battle rap experience, outsiders, soundbombing verse, 2001 writing performances, dead wrong and renegade verses, signed 50, and 8 mile soundtrack songs). He’s also real and ethically sound. I like my artists to be authentic and true to something that adds positivity to the world.

      I don’t think anyone who isn’t delusional has said that he’s not “a goat”….they’ve said he’s not THEE goat. Which is true. While Em is a CRAZY MC/lyricist/all of the above, he’s definitely not the goat lmao. Em is like the Magic Johnson of Rap. He can do it all!…but it’s sensical to say he’s not the absolute best to ever do it.
      Edit: and for anybody that wants to argue…I’ll link every time Em has explicitly named people who’ve came before him as the goat…or the countless times he’s been humble enough to speak on why his top 3 are better than him….words from the horses mouth that y’all chose to ignore lol

    • @YourAnimeDad
      @YourAnimeDad 3 месяца назад +12

      It's either delusional or they just simply hate a white person dominating their music, like dre say before that he doesn't realise there are so many racist people beside him until he signs Em'. Just own it that without Em', hip hop will not evolve and will forever stay as underground music. So many white rappers come before Em', but why only him can stay on the top? I mean there are even more white rappers that come after Em', but why can nobody match his success? There's plenty of proof that many rappers black or white who studied Em', they even admit it in every interview they get. But still he doesn't deserve to be called the GOAT? Dude he single handedly built this genre from an underground house into a whole mansion, so never ever say he doesn't deserve to be called the GOAT.

    • @YourAnimeDad
      @YourAnimeDad 3 месяца назад +3

      @@a-paco-lypse4429 nah, deep down those people know that Em' is the GOAT but still their own ego and pride forbid them to admit that Em' is the GOAT. It's not just about personal opinion but it's all about facts, but when the proof is already out there, they can't do anything besides hate Em' for no reason. They are trashing Em' legacy not knowing that without Em' hiphop will not be going anywhere, just look at this era of hiphop where the worst rappers you can possibly find still can make it into the industry, while the rappers that deserve more recognition stay hidden and never make it to the scene. I can't imagine the day rappers like Em', Wayne or even Kendrick retired, that probably will become the death of hiphop music. So they should be thankful that the OG and the GOAT like Em' are still willing to put out good music for us, because when they are gone then have fun enjoying some hiphop music with good beats but no bars.
