Hi Alec. Frequently I build things that are exposed to vibration with Nyloc nuts (nylon locking nuts) but that is a good idea to hammer the end of the bolts flat too. Another trick if you run out of locktight liquid is to use nail polish (what?dusty rose looks good on my tractor) Also for many years of fabrication work "break the edges" is the last thing you do before painting. Nylocs are very good so long as there's no heat.
Old mechanics used 2 nuts locked to each other. That's still hard to beat.
Cutting off the exposed bolt and hammering the end down around the nut is only good if it's a permanent installation.

That’s an awesome awesome idea. If the dolls are a little bit too small you could also put a little wrap of carpet around it or a cloth so it would be more snug. But what you did won’t work for me because I have a winch mounted in the back to pull my deer up
