I've since purchased another pair of Gazelles in 1 size down from my regular size - 5 instead of 6 - and they fit great. Some comparison notes based on my true Size 6: I own the Gazelle in yellow with pink stripe in Size 6 - these are a Women's shoe, nylon upper, and when I tried the Size 5, they were too short and too small The light green Gazelle in the video are a Size 6 - these are also a Women's shoe, suede upper, and felt the same as my yellow and pink Women's Gazelle in Size 6 My newest Gazelle is the blue suede with white stripes in a Size 5 - these are a Unisex shoe and fit perfect in both length and width - they feel like my Samba in Size 6 which are also a Unisex shoe So it seems that if the shoe is unisex, then going down a full size in the Gazelle can work out! Ultimately it will depend on your own foot length, shape, and comfort nuances - I would suggest that you order more than 1 size if possible and return the one that doesn't work out. If ordering directly from Adidas US or CA, they offer free return shipping within 30 days. Good luck!
Julia, perfect, finally someone comparing as it should be done, and someone who really know how shoe should fit! i have the exact same experience, spezial - 1/2 size down compared gazelle.
MY EXPERIENCE - SPEZIAL FIT: I usually wear a 39, bought a 39 1/3 (scared af that it might be too large since my feet is pretty narrow) and it was just perfect! 38 2/3 would be small on me.
spezial 100% unless u have a flat foot because the spezials have really prominent arch support but the spezials are definitely the BEST for comfort and are the cutest in my opinion
sorry BUT a lot of people recommended sizing down 1 full size down for the spezials but in my personal experience i had to size down 1.5 sizes (from 7.5 to 6)
I have wider feet use Samba 12 but Gazelle 11 is enough. Unfortunately I have 12 handball Spezial but they are bigger and I wish 11 would have been better. For women’s shoes it may be different of course
I bought Adidas Gazelle Jr size 36 and 2/3, and on their chart and on sneakers it says they are 22.5 cm, but I masured them and they are 24 cm. I want to order Spezials, but I am not sure they labeled my shoes the wrong size or is the size chart off?
I’m a Europe size 40 and my foot length is 25 cm The adidas spezial size chart suggest for a 25cm long foot the size 40 2/3 Should I stick to the 40 size I usually get or get the other one

I have samba, gazelles and spezials but the comfiest among the three design is the spezial
Great video, very informative. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Julia, good info!

@@akaonk my feet from the front is on the wider side. What do you think of sambas for student?
How does the Samba shoe compare to the Super Star? I am a true size 6 but in Super Star I am 5.5

I peel off arch suport from spezial and it made them more comfortable.
Are indoor shoes suitable for wearing outside?

Would you say the Spezial are taller than the Samba at the back? I can't tell for sure from pictures but it looks like it
