I was born with dead straight hair , and then after I had my daughter my hair turned wavy and slowly and gradually they just became super curly and then how I do it , is I brush before I wash and sometimes I forget and then brush after I wash then apply mouse if I need them to behave if not then I just let it air dry and crunch my hair from the ends then after it dries i use aragan oil so it's not frizzy. My low cost method helps my hair behave. But also over past few years because I don't use alot of heat my hair texture has thickened , it's more healthier.

My hair is EXACTLY that beachy mermaid thing and is so easy and fast no plop no gel no scrunch I PROMISE: 1. Wash hair like usual 2. Part hair ur usual way (I section mine down the centre) and distribute leave in conditioner (I use ouai) in hair 3. This is the secret sauce! I use prayer hands to apply curl cream (I use mise en scene curling essence) and then I gather the LEFT half of my hair and wind it around my RIGHT index finger (the way u would with a curling wand) in the direction of my natural wave pattern. It’s a bit of a handful but I just about manage. 4. then grab the whole chunk with my LEFT fist and squeeze + hold for a few seconds, then gently release. 4. Repeat for other half of hair 5. Air dry. Do not touch! Less frizz. Whole styling process takes like 40 seconds. Full disclosure: I have 2b/c hair and I prefer waiting to air dry rather than get heat damage from faster styling. Also the curling cream was the game changer for me, when I added it my waves got more defined and wavier

I’m Chinese and I discovered last year that I have wavy hair, that looks and seems to act basically the same as your hair. I’ve also come to many of the same conclusions you have along your journey, so I’m really excited to see such an amazing deep dive! I truly thought I had the “typical” straight Asian hair and wondered why it would never behave. Ironically I’ve always wanted waves, ever since I was a child, and did go through with perming my hair in high school into waves that basically looked like my current natural waves with styled product 😂

I will say, I have 2A waves and whether I am consistently keeping up with a wavy girl method never really matters. I have noticed no difference cutting out heat styling completely. Each day is unique and you’re not gonna get more or less waves because you did or didn’t do it the day before. If you have wavy hair, it will come back everyday with the right conditions. Don’t stress about that part

I have always been known for my pin straight hair (I was asked why I would, as a guy, straighten my hair all the time when I was purposefully wearing it in a bun to create a wave and I tried the CGM way back when I was the new trendy thing to do and my hair turned out more straight than before) and yet after putting some salt water on my hair yesterday I realized the the wierd clumps on hair above my ears turned into the cutest little 70s ringlet ever and my problem frizzy area behind my ears clumped into a perfect wave whilst the reststayed true to itself and remained pin straight. So I'm now convinced that my hair gets almost curly the finer it gets, and more straight the thicker it is. I have now washed, conditioned, combed and plopped and finger coiled/rolled my problem area without any product and let it air dry, I think I'll get to a 2a texture at the back. Once I buy some curling gel/cream/mousse (I won't go overboard with products yet) i'll try a curly/wavy routine on my entire head, see what happens to it. I might end up combing this part instead of brushing like the rest, I'm not particularly interested in having particularly defined hair there, when I curl my hair I do brush outs anyway, I just want to get rid of the clumpiness and mostly the rough delicate frizziness of the area

I just had to put down my buddy tonight, he was going on 14 years before medical issues hit in the past two months, he was the most incredible animal I have ever owned. Bengals are like nothing I ever experienced before with a cat, if I ever get another animal it will be a male Bengal.

Really cool insights, thanks. It's the financial concerns that feel MOST prohibitive. Dang, I think I'd be good but haven't had a dog since I was a boy. The money is truly the largest concern. I can sacrifice all the hassle of mess, rearranged lifestyle, damage, time, what have you. Insurance may be a viability 🤔🤔

I had pin straight hair until age 38. My texture became thick and wavy but idk what to do with it. Mine is like party on the bottom (I have very long hair) and flat and oily on the roots. The best way I can describe it is someone with small waves with hat hair. I have very oily hair but also love in the devils butt heat and my stylist has told me not to wash everyday- it’s not going well lol 😂

How did you dry your hair with a collander?

My all time dream was to have a dog when i got one as a child i was so dedicated we always took her outside to play she was energetic needed to fullfill that lol she was a sweetheart i made her run with me i also cuddled her when she wanted and made sure she had food it was so wonderful i miss that so much it’s still my dream to have a dog now but she will always be my first girl

I have wavy hair too. The right side curls in and the left side curls out. Some days it’s more wavy borderline coils. But the middle back of my head is also the least wavy part. However, the hairs towards my nape in the inner layers is the curliest. Wavy hair is definitely so random

I just adopted 1 day kitten which was found to die near garbage. She's 2 months old now. after watching your video I discovered she is Bengal cat. I have another cat Mainecoon who is 4 years old now. It's weird, you can be supper happy for someone when they get something/somewhere they wanted, but have one thing you are envious of. If they worked hard for something, you even feel proud of them for achieving it. I found myself being envious when there was something I strived for for years and my friend who happens to have way more money (which I am proud of her for earning and think she deserves) was able to do the one thing I've been trying to do for half my life, but did not have the means, on a whim. She never even had the idea to do it until I told her about it, then she did it just like that, and I am years and years away from the possibility. I feel guilty because I know I should not feel envious. I'm happy for her for everything else, just not this one thing. I told her I didn't want her to talk about it because it was too painful for me. Am I a bad friend?

I always had straight pin hair, but since almost a year, it became wavy. I tried so many routines, but discovered I have low porosity hair and loose wavy hair. Your routine is very helpful I tried it once and I see a big difference already ❤

I recently foster failed 2 boy kittens and thought they'd be great with my 11-year old female cat. Good news, she has 2 new playmates but the kitten brothers still want me to entertain them despite having each other

don't forget the all famous Bengal exercise wheel!! looks just like a hampster wheel but much larger. works great it is heaven sent , the bengals will use it daily even when you take them out all day and do nothing but run all day, they will still appreciate that wheel for one more run before nap time. also great for days you just cannot get the time to go outdoors. that wheel will be such a relief to your bengal. that same wheel works for miniature dachshunds since we decided to get one to go with our bengal!
