Beautiful! And I’m seeing this 7 years late. It’s always a thrill to find a knife, fun to clean them up and while doing so wonder at its history. Never just chuck them. Somewhere close to you is a knife maker who who would dearly love that metal.
How care. They are his now. They were probably thrown in there by idiots that are afraid of knives. The good news is that except for the benchmade, none of them are good.
the Havalon replaceable blade you showed is a very nice hunting and skinning knife. they start around $40 u.s. go up to $100. not sure if he still does or not but "Jim Shockey" ( famous t.v.- video ) hunter use to use that knife. he travels the whole world hunting
back in 2013 i found the exact same benchmade auto - all sanded up and would not work, tip broken. few youtubers said lifetime warranty - send it back - i did and i asked if they could repair and getting it working, but keep the scales and blade. about 6 weeks later back it came working like new.. good job on the knives. see ya
If you find a completely trashed leatherman - you can send those back to the company, they have a fantastic no questions asked warranty. Pay for shipping, get a new (or repaired) knife/tool back. Flip them for a small profit, sell them, use them, give them away, whatever - their warranty/policy really is awesome.
***** that havalon knife is so cool! The reason why is because the blades are replaceable and it's actually a folding scalpel. They're super nice knives and I have a couple myself. You should definitely clean it up and buy some spare blades from havalon. It's a great knife to have and I'm super suprised you found one. Definitely a good knife for cutting. Just not carving or poking because the blades are super thin and can break. But the edges are razor Sharp out of the box
Jay DoubleU being an automatic knife aka switchblade they won't send it back to anyone living outside the state of Oregon unless they send along proof that they are law enforcement or military. Just a heads up!
+Travis isAwesome I don't know the laws in his state, but as far as Benchmade is concerned, they will send automatic knives back to an authorized Benchmade dealer in any state. If he finds a local Benchmade dealer who Will send it in for him, he will very likely get it back. This is also assuming that the knife is not a counterfeit. If the knife is a counterfeit, Benchmade will destroy it and send him a "sorry" letter.
I recently found your channel by searching "WW2 found relics" and saw a magnet fishing video and it turned out to be you, great job here. I respect what you do so much. Have a nice day.
BlueScorpion MercDyme the benchmade auto stryker? It is a very nice knife, I'm glad he knew what is was, as soon as I saw it I was going to message him to see if he would sell it! Lol
Thank you for another entertaining video. It is so much fun going treasure hunting "with you" in these videos. Take care and hopefully lots more good finds!
That's a Havalon, i use one for my every day carry but they are intended for skinning knives. You can buy replacement blades at cabelas or amazon, they're surgical blades and dull quick but work great for hunting
Very nice collection! You work hard at finding what you do.I really enjoy your videos! Keep up the great videos! Great exploring and more great adventures are headed your way! Thumbs up!
That Benchmade Stryker is a cool find. And if it ever breaks or needs sharpening just send it to benchmade. Lifetime no questions asked warranty service. I've had to use them once and it made me a fan for life. Cool collection, Sir!.👍
I carry a benchmade griptillian everyday and love it, it's not a auto but just as fast and legal everywhere. I think it was about $120, and some of the nicer benchmade knives can go for $500+
+Kevin Thompson I actually bought mine at rei and I forgot how much it was so I looked it up, looks like they retail for $95 not a bad deal for what you get.
Cool video! Hard work is usually rewarded... Some really cool knives you got there. That Benchmade knife looked like a great knife. Especially with the blade being in such great condition. Thanks for sharing your finds!!
that's a switch blade... you push a button and the blade flys out. spring assisted requires you to push the blade to a certain point and the spring will catch and do the rest
+STARTairsoft780 that would be an otf switch blade of it came out the front. he pushed a button and never had to touch the blade making it an auto stryker, the older liner lock model. Benchmade never made an assisted stryker
+STARTairsoft780 It's not a spring assisted knife. A spring assisted knife still requires a manual type of action to open, such as a thumb stud or a flipper. An automatic knife just uses a button, and this is what that is, an automatic knife. Looks like a type of Benchmade auto Stryker like jacob mentioned.
+XboxCarsForza Not all of those that "Fold and have pliers" are leathermans. Leathermans would not corrode like any of those found. The black one was a Gerber. I have one. The all silver one was an offbrand and so was the very corroded zinc one.
Good finds man! The Benchmade switchblades are expensive knives! The can run for upwards of $150 or more! So major score there! The Bucks can vary in price between $10 to $100 for the fixed blades. The S&W knives are cheap but they're pretty good blades. I used to love finding stuff with my dad and the metal detector. Found a lot of old knives and rings and coins.
***** no lmao I'm going to army basic training on September 14 to Ft. Benning Georgia as an Infantryman(11B). I am responsible with firearms and knifes and hunt
***** 11H, Is that why you are interested in Cannon balls and artillery shells? My brother graduated not long ago as 11b he is now stationed in Germany(lucky). thanks and I will give it all in Basic training
+Aquachigger Well, that link says you cant have one or carry one or even sell them in my state of Colorado, but they sell them everywhere here. I bought mine, brand new, at the army/navy surplus store. I have put them through the scanner at the court house, and they held it for me until I left. Seriously, I don't think that is a switchblade....Just doesn't make sense.
+Aquachigger That's what I have. Spring loaded so I can use it with one hand. I would never carry anything else. Bought it here in Colorado, and the link says its illegal...I WOULD NOT trust that link.
The Benchmade knife is a striker and we were issued those in the military while in country. The price for knife new is about 200 dollars, but there is a good chance it was issued. The serial number for that knife would be under the jimping on the spine of the blade closest to the handle. Very cool find.
You have inspired me to do this at "" The Lake of the Ozarks"" last year and I am just now getting to say thanks for the idea I found ( 3 knives, 1 rusted machete,And some good fishing lures) thanks again for the idea even though I was supposed to thank you last year haha
I almost lost my Microtech in the lake the other day. That would have been more valuable than any gopro they ever made. Love your videos +++ keep em coming
Seriously- This is really awesome!!! Just Gave me an idea ( got a nice long creek behind my house - never really walked it . Just crossed . But I think my dogs would dig it !! Would love to find some treasures . Great vid !!
That fancy little Havalon knife is a good find. Brand new they are scalpel sharp. I like the design on the handle too. Really a special find compared to the others, except maybe the Benchmade
When ever I lose a knife, it always bums me out! I have lost possibly a half dozen through the years. Knives are works of art in my book. Thanks Beau, enjoyed the look see. If you find the rest in the misplaced box, I hope we can get a look at them also. May I assume the scissors are typical tackle box loses?
The orange one in front of you is a really nice river knife. I have one myself it's used as a rafting knife because it doesn't have a point. Also it has a bottle opener and above that toward the blade is a rectangle hole, that can be used to open or close an air tank valve. That knife runs from $60-70 bucks
i haven't read back in the comments very far to see if someone had already said this, but Gerber also has a pretty generous warranty. I saw that you had that Gerber multitool and I bet they'd replace it with a new one. My mom found a gerber knife in the road one time, sent it in, and got a brand new one. I'm loving your videos, I now want to go buy a snorkel and see what treasures I can find out in Lake Huron.
Very cool. Think of all the emergency room visits you may have prevented, having your kid stepping on one of the fixed blade knife would be a bad way to end a day at the river.
pretty much any knife with a spring action blade is considered illegal, especially the pop out or flip out knife. I know there are a lot of knife collectors drooling. I personally like the go pro collection. If they work, you are looking at several hundred dollars each, even used. I do mostly land detecting. I cant handle cold water for very long. I had a chance to detect a swimming area one fall. I couldnt tell you how many rings we cleaned out of that small marked off spot but it was saturated. Silver tarnishes like mad in water. It was on the great lakes. The cold water made for a short dive, but it was worth it!
+scott firman depending on the state. my state missouri, as many others in recent years have made switchblades, balisongs (butterfly knives) and out the front spring assisted knives legal to buy, and own.
the double lock blade. One straight edge, one serrated blade with black handle looks like a Coleman knife i use to have. Best knife i ever had held an edge forever. its a high carbon blade. great find sir.
+Ben Coleman I know your going to say its not a coleman because it has western in round medalion on handle but it is. Heres the spec's : Old COLEMAN WESTERN CUTLERY Co. Knife "Light Weight Double Lockback". Two stainless steel blades that lock open with a match striker nail kick. Contoured and textured black zytel handles. Coleman Western shield on both sides circling the pivot pin. Tang stamp is "WESTERN U.S.A. 954 STAINLESS". From back in the good old days. Nice lightweight little knife that will do whatever you need it to do, great for your hunting bag, tool box or pocket. Proudly made in Longmont, Colorado U.S.A. in the 1980's. . So when i said nice find i meant it.
Benchmade knives are very easy to spot. In the first few seconds of looking at the knives, I saw the Benchmade and immediately knew what it was. They're a good company. Also, that curved knife is called a karambit. It's a type of fighting knife.
Lol, at 1:37, I have that cheap brown one to the left, mine has my name written in it, I bought it from some cheap Colorado general store, the best thing on it is the scissors, that don't even cut through rope Rip
Gotta be a few murder weapons there.
right lmao that's the first thing I thought when I saw the title
Christian Mendez I bet he's a serial killer with dementia that keeps finding his own throwaways.
+Gurney McBuzzin He looks like he's related to Trevor Phillips
Christian Mendez From GTA 😂
Exactly what I was going to say. 😅
How many of these knives have been used for a murder?
I'll give it a strong probability although most of them must have been dropped during fishing
Yeah "fishing"
I doubt that murderers use these knifes. I think they stick to weapons that can be anywhere, like a stake knife.
I would say at least 40% of those knives have been stuck into someone during a murder, robbery, or fight...
I would say there is a 100% chance you're an idiot.
I wonder how many of those have been stabbed into people
+the90sboss i was about to write the exact same thing! :D
the90sboss he will get arrested for many murders he didn't commit
Well its better than those that have stabbed out of people anyway ;)
All of 'em, that's why they were dumped in the water...
...with the bodies...
discarded crime scene weapons????
Is anyone gonna use a folder to kill people? Very unlikely. Kitchen knives do a better job unless the folder is designed for self defence/combat
+Bush Camping Tools seriously dude....*facepalm*
You guys can't take a joke LOL! As if! :)
ik right omg he's probably dumb
Bush Camping Tools ikr but I realy want 1

@@bigmofo1122 Bro...what you said makes absolutely no sense.
Why doesn't a good guy like this have more subs?
idk
How many subs did he have then? He's at 1.09 million now
Wow that Benchmade was a great find!!! And still has a good action - amazing!
This guy is going to get arrested for 17 murders he didn’t commit
So original

That knife at 3:00 is called a barracuda. It uses medical grade scalpel blades. Yes it is very expensive.
+MetroDET2011 its 50$....
Expensive for poor people like me
They are also used for skinning deer and other game animals.

+Travis isAwesome so benchmade WILL return to you.
Those Havalons are fantastic skinning knives and yes, the blades are replaceable. Go for around $80 or more a piece.

***** A pair of those scissors on every floor then. Invaders beware.
The havlon is a replaceable blade hunting knife. Basically a scalpel plus a folding knife. They run about 60 dollars or so
i love that rusted dagger he uses for digging
This video alone made me get hooked into watching aquachigger
collecting murder weapons 101
Some of those Havalon knives are really expensive.
It's a murder weapon
ITS A KARAMBIT NOT A CUMQUAT 😂
A Kerambit is less useful than a cumquat. Pure mall ninja junk.
i know but what he is talking about is kerambit
no duh
he didnt have one but he was talking about it
He has it, he lost it with the others
I thought he may have meant a khukri knife.
Thank you for another entertaining video. It is so much fun going treasure hunting "with you" in these videos. Take care and hopefully lots more good finds!
I really love the fully black utility one
Maybe you could do a top 10 of your most favorite finds.
Ever think about exactly how you would explain all the knives and bonbs to police should they bust into your house? Lol
TheOverkillWill just tell em this is 'murica
TheOverkillWill Well if they would have picked their shit up...? lol

Little dagger knife looks like a Sgian-dubh! Someone been out on the river with their Kilts! Nice videos! Having fun!
Those Buck 110's are very nice- I carry my father's 3-pole version from the 80s and it's the best knife I've ever had.
You can send that Benchmade in to the company and they can be repaired for free
The Havalon is a skinning knife and not cheap and yes you can interchange the blades
45 bucks max
i would like to see a video of all the guns you found
2:49 that is a havalon piranta.. It's used for skinning and gutting fish. It costs around 60 bucks
That's a Havalon, i use one for my every day carry but they are intended for skinning knives. You can buy replacement blades at cabelas or amazon, they're surgical blades and dull quick but work great for hunting
Who's here from the meme?
"lost" murder weapons cx

+Aquachigger still it that at least a $1000 worth of knives
+Aquachigger hello there, I just saw your knive collection video, would you consider selling one or two? I am not from USA, however :D
+Aquachigger so, do you have any left? You actually encouraged me to buy scooba gear and a metal detector. If you do have any left, can I have one?
i know. right

Can i buy the benchmade. Ill give you $50.00 for it.
+Aquachigger Can I have the havelon skinning knife
+Aquachigger Plus, most benchmade knives go for 75 to 100 dollars, at least that I've seen
I carry a benchmade griptillian everyday and love it, it's not a auto but just as fast and legal everywhere. I think it was about $120, and some of the nicer benchmade knives can go for $500+
ZealousAce I saw a Griptillian at an REI camping/outdoors shop, it was around 200, unless I'm remembering it wrong.
+Kevin Thompson I actually bought mine at rei and I forgot how much it was so I looked it up, looks like they retail for $95 not a bad deal for what you get.

The Havalon is a nice fishing/skinning knife. The knife uses replaceable scalpel blades.
That isn't a switchblade. That's a spring assisted knife. Fully legal.
that's a switch blade... you push a button and the blade flys out. spring assisted requires you to push the blade to a certain point and the spring will catch and do the rest

You have 1 or 2 leather mans, those are pretty expensive
*leatherman
Ikr
No I don't think any are leathermans. I saw one Gerber and the rest were off brand.
+Typical Murican the ones that folded and were ploers
+XboxCarsForza Not all of those that "Fold and have pliers" are leathermans. Leathermans would not corrode like any of those found. The black one was a Gerber. I have one. The all silver one was an offbrand and so was the very corroded zinc one.
How do you loose scissors and in the river ?
tr3nta I was wondering the exact same thing...
i think people that fish use them for cutting the fishing line and stuff.
SomethingDutch I could see that
murder
My husband would love this treasure collection
I used to have one of those Gerber multitools and those things are great. I miss that thing so much. I wanna go get another one soon. Great find!
benchmade will clean that knife up for free.
