I don’t know if I’m allowed to add a second comment, but here goes,I think June Miles-Kingston is a great drummer, she keeps a great tempo throughout the song, also the young ladies on the string section are hot and sexy .

My favorite song by the Communards. This would be a fun song to perform with the strong melody line that really challenges a vocalist to transition to the right note time and time again. I know Jimmy's lip syncing here, but he takes advantage of that by doing some fierce dance moves that inspires me to get off the chair and join him.

So, that's what happened to the set of the planet Krypton once the filming of Superman the movie was complete. Who is the woman on the keyboards as she is BEAUTIFUL?

@@andrewjenkins816 Thanks. I was introduced to their music in 1991 by a recommendation of a friend. I live in the southern United States and they, along with Bronski Beat and Erasure never got any airplay on the radio. The drummer is cute too.

@@TravisTarrant Bronski Beat's "Age of Consent" is fantastic synth-pop. The album was produced by Mike Thorne who also did the early Soft Cell stuff and early The The. The drummer is June Miles-Kingston BTW. She sang on that French song that Somerville did (Comment te dire adieu) and drummed for and appears in Fun Boy Three videos and on TV shows backing Feargal Sharkey (not the glossy video). My favourite Communards song is "For a Friend". I didn't like the cover versions they did much. Take care.

@@andrewjenkins816 through that friend that introduced me to The Communards, I became aware of Bronski Beat. I found their first album, The Age of Consent in a used book store in 1991 and The Communards "Red" for a twenty-five cents around the same time in a discounted cassette bin in a store. Though Bronski Beat, The Communards, and Erasure got very little if any airplay, bands like Soft Cell and Frankie Goes to Hollywood had their biggest hit songs played quite a bit. Tomorrow and There's More to Love than Boy Meets Girl were my two favorite songs by The Communards.
