And it all comes flooding back. - My memory had lost this song for decades until now. It came out in '87, and '87 was the year my first lover died in my arms. Our memories are so selective during times of trauma and afterward. And yet, when our senses are triggered in the years that follow, everything from that time replays and resonates in our minds and hearts. Jimmy (whether he was flying solo, with Bronski Beat or the Communards) was an artist that got me and my generation through the most important time of our lives in so many ways. This re-release/remaster reminds us of that, and of the gratitude we felt at that time... and still do.
