Thanks for the tip. This procedure is necessary to get my fridge to start on gas if it's been running on electricity for a day or so. It needs to be serviced. However, I discovered that a small 9v battery (smoke detector type) will kick start the solenoid valve just as well as a big 12v battery, and a lot easier too!
Hi great tip, what if this doesn’t work? Any other ideas? My fridge seems to think it’s working as there are no error codes on any source but it’s not cooling. Thanks
