Just one question I think toyota connect is only offered in the non hybrid S variant and not available as a standard feature in Hybrid. Please correct me if I am wrong. @@krishchaudhry2222 hi, as per my understanding its available in 7 Inches also and offered in mild hybrid from S variant onwards. However this feature is missing in S variant of strong Hybrid. It can also be added as an accessory thanks
@@Tealsile hi, In Neo drive mild hybrid it's a proper six speed automatic Torque converter and has paddle shifters also which enabled to increase or decrease the gears manually if required. It's a nice technology. In strong hybrid its a CVT, which doesn't have any fixed gear ratios. Thanks
Thank you for this review. I was looking for this review from a long time. I bought Urban Cruiser base model for 11.75 Lakhs and took delivery on 1st July, the day Hyryder was launched. So I was a little disappointed when I saw this car because this seemed like a better option than my Urban Cruiser. But after having driven my AT Urban Cruiser, I am very very happy with it. And now that I saw this review, this variant is in line with what I would have bought as compared to my Urban Cruiser base model AT. I am even more happy now as after seeing this review, I am comforted with the fact that I made a good decision for myself having saved around 4 Lakhs rupees on just gimmicky features that this car would have given to me at 15.5 Lakhs. I would have bought the S AT model, not the hybrid one. So very happy and very glad! And as always a great detailed review by you!
For a budget of 12.50 lakhs on road Hyryder base model seems to be value for money. 1. Above 4m car mid size suv. 2. Mild Hybrid. 3. All wheel Disc Brake.
Strong Hybrid gives you better mileage especially in city traffic conditions. IMO for the people who wants mid size AT SUV with diesel car kind of mileage, this strong hybrid variant can be an attractive option.
@@HardikShah108 yes, but that is a lot of upfront cost as well for someone whose budget is limited. I have not taken a loan, hence the automatic hybrid version is way expensive. Plus i will never drive this much to justify the cost comparison between petrol and hybrid, hence the decision.

And this S variant with strong hybrid option solves major mileage issue which other similarly priced popular Korean twins Creta-Seltos or European Kushaq-Taigun 1.5 AT base models doesn’t.

Creta & Seltos both the cars start from 12.5 lakhs on road but huge difference is accessories..You don't get anything in them means neither push button start stop, automatic climate control AC, deffoger on rear window, foldable side view mirrors, hand rest on back seat, & major thing is the FUEL AVERAGE OF THE CAR.. Rest you can go for Grand Vitara if u can

One thing that hurt me always that all our indigenous auto companies are taking very high prices for their less featured cars hence they are paying less taxes and on the other hand many foreign auto. Companies like Toyota and Suzuki are offering very High class features in comparatively low price even after giving 30-40% taxes on their products to shell in India. Reasons kya h could you please tell me?
Indigenous companies are funding the government so that people will always prefer indian brands and is trying to shell out foreign brands from the country by imposing taxes and GSTs . But manufacturers are still trying their best to hold on
boodmo ki jo app promotion ker rahe ho they never deliver you the parts, fraud hai sab, my personal experience. Order few parts but I got only bulbs rest no delivery of parts and no refund and call response. so please avoid promoting them.

toyota connected features are present in the new gen 9 inch touchscreen only , if i am not wrong it is offered from g variant onwards only
