it's funny that the robot itself isn't scary in appearance but the sound design of it walking and creepy ai demons possessing song make it infinitely more scary than most horror games

The fact is that its fast, brutal and more or less "one shots" you makes it pretty scary in my eyes. You need to turn up the volume then and turn off the light in your gaming room. If you create the correct environment I definayly think its scary. I played FULL volume and all lights off with my son and haha we were in the roof the first play through when spottet and it terminates you! I like the fact that it walks around kind of like a guard dog.
Well yea, the bot looks perfectly fine compared to what you see everywhere in night city during the game, but the sound design and atmosphere and the fact that its an AI makes it like very scary lol,its a very unique mission in my opinion, almost feels like you are playing alien isolation
I know I can't shut up about it but this was far better, in every way, from anything movies have offered in quite a long while. THAT is how you tell a story . . . Damm!

Damn, Female V's VA KILLED it in this episode. What a performance. Same with Songbird's VA. I dunno if I should praise the VA's or the people directing them, but the way they deliver these lines. You feel like you're right there with them.

Cherami is SO GOOD! in the base game i already loved V, but here she was so in character that i forgot i wasn't there, with them. also, Minji's just perfect So Mi, it amazes me how she delivered the pain of Songbird. this dlc is fire.
As someone who played through with male V, Gavin Drea (male V's VA), also killed it.
After seeing the amount of work that CDPR went into getting Refused to sound like Samurai, I have to believe that there was a great deal of direction with the VAs as well. While I don't doubt that the VA cast have immense talent and hard work behind them, CDPR obviously had a vision and expectation as well. Us gamers had a treat playing through, seeing, and hearing, this great piece of work
King of Cups is an achievement for granting Songbird's request. It is the lowest global achievement (%0.7 of all players), and the only one I have for PL.
That's the next ending I want to go for I think!

They outdid themselves with this alternate ending. Did not expect ALL of this after doing the path where you betray Reed. Loved every aspect, even the little peaks into her memories. CDPR is very capable of doing a horror game. I haven't had my heart jumping out of my chest in a long time.. that spider bot.. my goodness.. idk if it helped I was on Hard Mode and im always playing risky.
Fun Fact?: At 40:40 where you see Song Bird on the monitors, if you try screenshoting her, she will never be set to make a perfect face? If that makes sense.. pieces of her face will always be disorganized.. it's like slightly breaking the 4th wall. Unless it was just my game. I just found that creepy but cool lol.

I LOVED So Mi, I tried to save her in every possible choices given to me. Finally ended up with killing So Mi, to truly free her from the hell the NUSA would give her later. Rejected the handshake with Myers, my way of wishing for her worst death for ruining So Mi, Alex, and Reed.

Agree , "saving" her life on the Reed path is literally one of the most evil things you can do, sealing her fate as a soulless husk and Blackwall slave for the FIA.
Sadly it's the only way to unlock new V ending , but it sucks anyway so it's fine.

I also read something about maybe Mr. Blue Eyes will use her for enabling rogue AIs to starting a war or something.
As you said, I don't care what happens on the moon, I don't care that she betrayed me, I would have helped her anyways.
Reed is blinded by his loyalty and seeing the other ending possibilities, I'm happy I helped her to get away. Either that, or kill her, but NEVER let her stay alive and getting fucked up in any way possible. That is just horrible...

@@leathersausage yeah right call well about using her this theory just don't match the dots she is legend of our time in Cp cdpr won't just end her story like this they will show in next game probably I believe they cooking better story of cyberpunk 2 if you played rdr2 in that game you were dying so you do good doing and redeem yourself just like that in cyberpunk V do same thing only thing is different is in cyberpunk song bird and judy both is someone who can help V in future who knows so mi contacts us again with something

You can have a lot of options of runners that help in this quest. There's a Sandra Doresett quest you can do and she's an option. There's at least one other person too. Maybe Nix. There are a couple quests involving 6th street. In the main story, you helped Panam recover a shipment for them as the first quest in her storyline. There's also a side mission where you can get a unique weapon. Don't remember anything pointing to Regina being shady. If MaxTac wanted to recruit them then there's atleast 2 or 3 that were attacked by the police, so MaxTac could have swooped in and grabbed them before you got there.

Yeah once the unkillable robot found me whilst I was hacking a terminal, in a segment where you are not even allowed to save - that's when I gave up on this expansion. Such pure bs.

Choosing to kill her here is the best outcome for everyone. She's dead either way, just do it on her own terms.
She also gives you a nice little thank you present later on, so to me, this is the way. Also a nice little pre-recorded thank you message.

This is the worst ending for me. She's dying because of what Myers and Reed did to her and now she's going to be surrounded by people that only want to use her. They'll patch her up an then use her until she'd dead. At least if you kill her it's quick.
For me this ending and Don't Fear the Reaper is the best because it fits to a theme of the game. Die in blaze of glory or live long life as mr/ms nobody. Also this ending fully captures the theme of Cyberpunk genre. You are not here to save the world or anyone but save yourself because by helping someone else you are screwing yourself and by screwing someone else you save yourself. Songbird was doing this to V. Fake promise of help and wasting his/her time. I honestly didn't trust her. Those messages even before she told the truth. You have to trust me V and all. Also her memories show that she also did upon herself. She said to her friend that nobody ask him to save her. Later Netwatch was trying to get her. That means one thing. She was messing with blackwall. Something that no one should mess around.
Missed a couple really cool items in the facility. Experimental items used to... Make some cool stuff.
you know what Myers did to Somi after? they deleted her personality and reimplated a new experimental one and used her body as a key to use blackwall like a puppet as much as they wanted. Yup thats Myers. Somi was right, a Fate worse than death. you help them kill/enslave her. good job lol
No seccond chance, no death, only slavery in the dark abbyss. What an awful ending.
That’s so funny I did the same thing last night when on this mission, for some reason I needed to hear some tunes and that same song came on. It was definitely a moment.

Whoa. I saved SoMi so I haven't seen this material. Having seen it I am ever so glad I made the choice I did. That scene in the operating room broke me . . . Oh, and that platform elevator ride is straight out of AKIRA!

ARGH...I haven't gotten to this point yet, so I won't watch this. But my heart is in my mouth with anticipation and dread. This game can absolutely tear you up. I'm split on going through Phantom Liberty all at a gulp, or stretching it out to delay it being all over. What to do...?
I'd say take your time, cause all the choices are sad
Rip the bandaid. The longer you stretch it out, the more it will tear you up.

I chose the path less traveled, with the exclusion of the new shiet ending. A lot of people like calling Sandra Dorsett for some reason I imagine you can acquire the blackwall infected weapon with any netrunner from the list while keeping those eddys

I wanted to go full John Wilkes Booth on Myers after I was done with Phantom Liberty. She didn't deserve Reed, Song, Alex or their loyalty.

Little do they know that this just shows female politicians can be just as big of an asshole as male ones. Power corrupts, and it doesnt give a shit about your race, gender.. any of that. Human is human. We're all vulnerable to it.

Just played this path to see how the story plays out, my original, organic ending was another.

Hard to believe how incredibly lame MaxTac are in CDPR's version of the game. V needs to be able to defeat them, of course, but taking down a WHOLE SQUAD should be a fight as hard as that battle against the Chimera, with V getting burned, blinded and crippled by their top-notch NetRunners. It's one of the first thing CDPR wants us to know about Night City, illustrated by that bit when Jackie drives us home after the Sandra Dorsett mission : "Here they are: the apex predator!" Heck, they were the highlight of the trailer in 2013! Missed opportunity for sure . . .
It's kinda strange cuz when you fight Max Tac as a result of getting your police wanted level too high, they are TOUGH! I've never managed to beat them in that sense, but they defo felt a lot more easy to fight in this mission.
To clarify I played this in Very Hard, and that Maxtac Fight took me about as long as the Chimera fight. (both took me close to an hour each I think) They are DIFFICULT on Very Hard. Incredibly difficult. If you basically dont rush the netrunner and only exclusively fight the one that Reed is putting focus fire into, you lose.

I believe they made the max tax in the mission weaker then the max tac you face when max stars
