Most of secular logic seems to revolve around defining creation in such a way that there's no room for God. It's very much in vogue to claim that there's no objective reality at all - it's a type of madness that makes me despair.

I watched Billy Carson’s video on why the God of the Bible is actually Satan. I felt like crying. Afterwords the spirit pointed out each point on why his human interpretation is wrong. Christ is the truth.
I appreciate your remarks about the difficult side of Christ's teaching, how it often leads right to abuse and exploitation. When I was a young Christian I was alarmed at how frequently this happened. Made me really struggle with my new life. It's a rare man indeed who doesn't mistake "kindness for weakness."
This video is beautiful. I feel that I'm on the cusp or rediscovering my faith, and I'm attracted to the Orthadox viewpoint. I do have one major issue, and I would love some input. I have trouble accepting that God is an "ocean of mercy" with all that is happening/has happened in the world. I just have so much trouble getting past this. With children being blown up and the atrocities of the world, how can a loving God watch this without intervention? Knowing these children will never even have the chance to be saved spiritually or physically. Again, this is not meant to be confrontational, I'm honestly here for guidance. A longing for guidance is what has brought me to these videos in the 1st place. I feel i need a way to wrap my mind around this to be able to fully commit to Christ.

This is the teaching of Jesus that I find the hardest to follow. The world I grew up in was one of darkness and chaos, and I have been hurt many times by many different people. And the people I've met who have shown me even small kindnesses are few. Part of me wants very much to obey the command to be loving to all, but a second part of me screams that I must be as hard and cold, and calculating as a machiavell or I will be eaten by the wolves.
