Misleading because pre orders and income aren't indicative of how good the game will be, alot of those pre orders and income cam be refunded if the game is poorly received, so let's all just relax until review embargo lifts on the 28th
Out of curiosity, where would I look to see pre-sales data for myself? I've looked, and I don't see it anywhere.. still, I could easily have missed it. Numbers "Following" a title in Steam is best I can come up with, though ofc that is NOT the same thing, that presumably means people that have wishlisted the game, obviously no purchase necessary there, and many wishlisted items will not end up being purchases.
He folks in the meantime, while you wait for news of Dragon Age and Mass Effect you need to check out where Exodus is. They just released two big posts one about an enemy. You’re gonna be dealing with in the game and more insight into how people had to contend with the celestial’s.
Honestly, Exodus is just micro-loredump after micro-loredump right now, which is okay, but we're a week out from DATV in our hands. Not really worried about Exodus atm. :P
@@designlover945 oh, I’m still waiting for mass effect. I’m hoping dragon age does really well so BioWare will dump money into mass effect development. In the meantime exodus looks incredible. Interesting and super easy to listen to, very relaxing. Eagerly awaiting your next one! Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for the news, Paragon. Appreciate you.! Something not mentioned here is a lot of us direct ordered Veilguard from EA so we could use Creator codes to thank our favorite streamers. That is numbers Steam would not have as it was a sale outside their platform. So it is even bigger than they think! I came to watch your video which made me happy, then read some of the comments and saw behavior that saddened me. Where has our world gone when some are so miserable in life they need to vomit that misery all over the things the rest of us love? I have been utterly floored by the angst directed at this title (and others) recently for absolutely no reason (though they post falsehoods to validate themselves). The trolling is just unbelievable. Maybe the addition of AI will enable a means to identify and remove the toxic behavior. Or maybe one day the silent majority will stand up and form their own group to take back what used to be a place to enjoy and share news on our favorite games. One can only hope.
So good to hear! I preordered & bought the Rook's offer from the gear store. People are determined to crap on veilguard & it isn't even out but idk, I'm stoked nonetheless.

Next Golden Era is a huge overstatement. BioWare actually need this success to even have a future. Especially after that debacle of Anthem, how many times this game was restarted, developer turnover etc. It wont be an easy task. Veilguard actually looks decent because I had very low expectations considering the development hell this was in. But I am skeptical whether this will be of the quality of older Dragon Age games and Mass Effect games, writing and narrative wise. I will pick it up on sales one or two years down the line as I have a lot of great backlogs on Playstation to play for now
I already got the deluxe edition, Just wanted to add the poncho that Laria wears in the teaser I’m guessing she’s pregnant with Femshep child and that wouldn’t be impossible but surprise for fan base for sure.
The end gave me happy squels, watched the video when it came out but I still want the Shep back... like me and Master Chief I just associate so much with the Sheppard. Eventually I will need to move on....

Relative to the other games in the series, the art style certainly isn’t the same. Choices from previous games seem to matter less in this installment. You say there are 40,000 preorders? Where is the actual aggregate data? What about console and other PC sales? How are they counting preorders? Also, what’s the game’s budget? How do the preorders compare to their other games? Since you’ve built a channel around these games, how can anyone trust you to be honest? Most of the pre-reviews I've seen have been pretty dismal... Don't care about DA much at all (the lame combat was atrocious and painful to play through), just how its success or failure will impact the next Mass Effect game - if BioWare can even do that justice anymore, with all their historical leaders being long gone. Open question? Hoping the Exodus will deliver though, with all the BioWare historical talent they absorbed. Looks like a spiritual successor to Mass Effect, if BioWare folds or can't deliver...
