The amount of love and care you put into your editing and also teaching us is amazing. :) these are some good tips. I do like the abstract and saturated look myself but sometimes less is more
Great video, Alex with lots of good ideas. I’ve become much more aware of cropping lately and it’s interesting to see how different crops affect the whole ‘story’ of the image.
I completely agree with you Alex as far as ALOT of Landscape photographers tend to have very dark and contrasty images with that subtle glow in parts of an image with a touch of saturation. I envy those editing skills because its super powerful!
So true regarding wanting to make your images pop but loosing the atmosphere in the process. Retraint is the key. Love that image of the sunlight hitting the volcano. Looking forward to you doing a video on the histogram. Thank you for sharing Alex.
Great advice! It’s pretty easy for me to get stuck on trying to get a photo technically correct rather than aesthetically pleasing sometimes. Thanks for the tips! 🤙🏼
A tip I like to use for seeing haloing is to look at the thumbnails. An over heavy radial filter or vignette will show up much more in your filmstrip than on the main viewer.
About to have my coffee and sit down to watch some good photography advice!
love your vids, keep it up !

Thanks David, might be time for a video completely on cropping.

Indeed! Especially to get it to look "right"

Sorry but a voice does not sound like that there is to much Bass it is unpleasant to listen to. Don't over do it.
