Hi Matt, I've been in the apartment industry for 3 years as a maintenance guy but after a much needed back surgery I'm moving into a Leasing Consultant role. I've been watching all your videos during my recovery. Thanks!!
Thank you, Matt. This video is Great! The Seven tips bring you closer to your client. Its about them and nobody else. The needs, wants, and challenges are the most important details to their happiness and security. This makes a ton of sense.
I am a new Leasing Consultant and working on my closing techniques for the prospective resident to leave a deposit plus fill out the application. I am going to become a student at Leasing University. Thank you Matt.👍
I am a newly leasing consultant getting back into the game just after five months . I love your ideas and I am always jotting down notes and trying to study on the things you say. I want to be better and get better with leasing as whole. I can’t wait to be able to afford your leasing university. Hopefully soon . Thanks Matt.
You...know I don't like to look the person in the eyes..when I'm under pressure to produce and close. Which makes me look shady!!!! Well. Now that I got that out. I better practice on eye contact and a smile. Thank you Matt!👍
Would you treat a lower class property the same as if it was a Class A? My property was bought about year and half ago and previous management did not take care of it at all. They pretty much scammed / broke the rules on doing protocol and procedures. I just got hired on a month ago and already went thru 3 managers 2 assist managers. That's the front office as for maintenance we had 4 guys now to 1permanent lead out of the 4 and others are temps / floaters from other properties. I have had leases come into the property but feel bad doing so because property is kind of crappy but at the end of the day it's my job... So I feel like I am doing injustice to the people who moved in because I know the issues of what's going on behind the scenes... All I can do is do my job and hope that I have stable management and maintenance team. Just feel like I need help.
Chris, I understand how you feel and what you are going through. I have a few ideas that I think would be a game-changer for both you and the community but I want to run them by you and get your thoughts. Can you call my office at (888) 735-7451 and tell them you want to speak directly to Matt Easton? Looking forward to talking to you.
Realistically we do not have this much time to spend with the caller. How do we minimize this information and keep caller still interested? People loose interest quickly over the phone, they just want the basics. Please advise
Hey Matt, how would you address client who need Fully Furnished apartment to have their own furniture (but it’s impossible as per landlord), how would you address this challenge. Just curious. Thanks.

Amazing
In Los Angeles California asking about kids could be a fair housing issue. So be careful asking about children. Very careful.... 😢
