I am proud that I unlocked all customes with Dante and Vergil in DMC 3 and reached 9999 in bloody palace, still my most played game to date ever since it's release in 2005 :D
Dude. I beat bloody palace with Vergil for the first time in my life. That’s not the story. I quit the game without saving and lost my super Vergil skin and progress and now I have to do it all over again!😭
DMC3Se was so noob friendly. Nobody was saying this about Dante’s awakening since you had to beat DMD before you could get Super Dante. Unless you cheated of course and we all knew who the cheaters were. DMD is actually possible with items

Same. I unlocked every costume back then and I remember playing the Devil Palace with my dad while using Sparda's infinite D.T. costume. He would shoot the enemies from far away and sometimes hit them with the stringer while I lured them. Really good times. Kudos to that Walmart employee many years ago when I wanted a new PS2 game and my options were either DMC3SE or a Naruto fighting game. I originally wanted the Naruto game, but guy convinced me to get DMC3 instead. Best purchase ever
Dante with Beowulf was just so live. Also if you notice when you play as sparda when you’re not in d.t you can see that his shadow is his d.t. form. Pretty cool detail.

I still Massively appreciate DMC2. I may be alone on this but I feel DMC2 has gotten better with age. The music Slaps! Dante is still Dante just reserved. Lucia is Frickin Awesome! I really hope we see her in a Future DMC Game. Yeah I'm bias towards DMC2. That's because it was my introduction to the series. I love this franchise because this game got me into it.

But the game alot of fans mistaken that the game only has one combo attack.. In fact no Dante does have Combos instead of Pauses, you have to hold the Analog stick in a direction to perform combos...
@liquidalumina7141 that wasn't what I ment.. In DMC2 there's no combo that requires a Pause... you had to hold the analog stick in a direction during a attack to perform a Combo.. There's was the Lift attack which was still there... But you had to go into devil trigger to perform "Trillion Stab" in DMC2.. It wasn't until DMC3 that used the Styles as a factor for the circle Button..

Yes, as of DMC 4, to increase the game's challenge, the super suit generates a score penalty. The most you can get in a Mission in DMC 4, using Super Suit, is "B Rank". In DMC 5, in Human Mode, it is even possible to get "S Rank" with the Super Suit, but your score has to be VERY HIGH .

Feel so sad that Dmc 3 would be the last game that we actually got a ton of decent unlockable costumes for every playable characters. Dmc 4 onwards would just be recolours and the occasionally extra costume.
Yamato is an extra Devil Weapon, when we play with Sparda's Skin in DMC 1. You already start the game with her when playing with him. Basically in DMC 1 Yamato is just a Skin for Alastor, and during Devil Trigger it becomes Devil Sword Sparda.
My drawbacks about corrupt and super corrupt Vergil (becoming worst for the latter )comes from that a part of the moveset is not available or was edited when transfomed into Nelo Angelo, it's worst with SCV because you have gained the ultimate power but have lesser combo. I think the best will be to separate skin from power/abilities, ideally you can play shirtless Dante with infinite DT. And i don't understand why most game with customable character don't do that and instead make your character look awful because you use different piece of set for better damage and less cooldown.
How dmc 5 special edition doesn't have any other costumes shocks me. How lazy do they have to be to offer only different colors after showing so much effort in every other aspect of the game. Not everyone is a pc gamer that can have mods

My advice is to equip the Agni & Rudra against it, and the Shotgun, and as a style when playing DMC 3 for the first time, I recommend using the Trickster. Try using Agni & Rudra to attack his face in the air, he will be stunned, but still be careful as he can still hit you. When it starts glowing brightly, back away as you can only contain the attack if you're playing "Royal Guard" style. Then when he starts throwing iron weights at Dante, always try to dodge and attack next to him. If you do this even if it takes time, you will be able to beat him. Now if you're having a hard time, replay the first Quests to get enough Red Orbs to buy Vital Stars or Gold Orbs.
@@mr.curtis6730 I beat him with the royal guard style earlier today and it was difficult but felt badass. I royal guarded his stomps and AOE explosions and dodge rolled away from his ground punch. I also royal guarded his cages and his charge attack which stuns him if performed correctly. Thanks for the advice anyways
Unfortunately no, it is not possible to change costumes in the same "Save" or "New Game+". To play as "The Legendary Dark Knight (Sparda Skin)" or "Super Dante" in DMC 1 you have to create a new Save with each one.

Beat it in hard difficulty and you'll unlock the Sparda costume which has yamato included. If you manage to finish it in dmd, you'll get super dante with infinite devil trigger.
Unfortunately, only in DMC 1, one of the extra costumes changes the Cutscenes, with the "Legendary Dark Knight" Costume. Now in DMC 2 and 3, none of the costumes change the cutscenes.

Yes, I think about doing it. But unlike DMC 3, DMC 4 SE and DMC 5 don't have as many costumes as the old games, DMC 4 Original basically only had Super Dante and Super Nero, and in the Special Edition the Extra Skins are already unlocked for standard. In DMC 5 it's even worse, in addition to only having EX Colors, they are paid DLCs.

Yes, Devil May Cry 2 was the first time we had Playable Trish. It is unlocked after completing Hard Mode with both Dante and Lucia.

In DMC 3 when you play Sparda's or Dante's DMC 1 Skin, Dante becomes Sparda's Devil Trigger instead of his own.

Yes in DMC 3 SE, to unlock Vergil just complete the game once on any difficulty with Dante. However to play as Vergil, you will have to create another Save Slot.

@@titaniumcranium3755 Bewoulf, right? He is one of the toughest bosses in the game. My advice is to equip the Agni & Rudra against it, and the Shotgun, and as a style when playing DMC 3 for the first time, I recommend using the Trickster. Try using Agni & Rudra to attack his face in the air, he will be stunned, but still be careful as he can still hit you. When it starts glowing brightly, back away as you can only contain the attack if you're playing "Royal Guard" style. Then when he starts throwing iron weights at Dante, always try to dodge and attack next to him. If you do this even if it takes time, you will be able to beat him. Now if you're having a hard time, replay the first Quests to get enough Red Orbs to buy Vital Stars or Gold Orbs.

@@mr.curtis6730 I beat him with the royal guard style earlier today and it was difficult but felt badass. I royal guarded his stomps and AOE explosions and dodge rolled away from his ground punch. I also royal guarded his cages and his charge attack which stuns him if performed correctly. Thanks for the advice anyways
can u select the costumes in dmc1 on ng+ or do u have to start over?
Unfortunately no, it is not possible to change costumes in the same "Save" or "New Game+". To play as "The Legendary Dark Knight (Sparda Skin)" or "Super Dante" in DMC 1 you have to create a new Save with each one.

Beat it in hard difficulty and you'll unlock the Sparda costume which has yamato included. If you manage to finish it in dmd, you'll get super dante with infinite devil trigger.

Unfortunately, only in DMC 1, one of the extra costumes changes the Cutscenes, with the "Legendary Dark Knight" Costume. Now in DMC 2 and 3, none of the costumes change the cutscenes.

You need to complete the game on Difficulties with Dante if you want his alternative costumes.

When you use infinite devil trigger in DMC2 it disables by default usage of Dante's Majin form. In other words it don't exist there.

Yes, I think about doing it. But unlike DMC 3, DMC 4 SE and DMC 5 don't have as many costumes as the old games, DMC 4 Original basically only had Super Dante and Super Nero, and in the Special Edition the Extra Skins are already unlocked for standard. In DMC 5 it's even worse, in addition to only having EX Colors, they are paid DLCs.
