- Ebony Maw was a member of the Black Order and an adoptive son of Thanos. Gifted with powers of telekinesis, Maw was deeply loyal to Thanos and gave warnings of his power across the galaxy while assisting in the search for the Infinity Stones. Ebony Maw's powers are strong enough to give a few Avengers a run for their money. Ebony Maw vs Dr. Strange is kind of one-sided and Ebony Maw vs Iron Man wasnt any better. Ebony Maw has genius-level intellect. He mostly demonstrates his intelligence with his highly skilled abilities of manipulation being described as a "black tongue that spreads mischief and evil wherever he goes." Ebony Maw’s skills at manipulation are a result of his superhumanly persuasive voice which allows him to control even the strongest minds such as Doctor Strange.

And this is why I like the video before watching it! 4 minutes of laughter for me! That scene when he swatted Spider-Man in the chase scene all I can think was that song “can’t touch this”

So he's a glass cannon. ..... I remember this guy, strange was bound and in peril, just a hair away from death and seemingly a mismatched team to rescue him. I remember watching the movie thinking... how they hell are _they_ going to rescue Strange from _this_ guy???! ... and when they did it was such a satisfying death for such a boot licking A-hole. I was happy because it surprised me, the guy who you thought might stand a chance against him, needed rescue by Spiderman and Ironman, not even Thor there or something.
They are so powerful that they were defeated thanks to the superheroes using their situation in their advantage.
Ebony Maw - Iron blasting the wall, causing for him to get sucked out of space.
Proxima Midnight - levitating her onto the coming thresher, shredding her into pieces
Cull Obsidian - him and Banner were situated near the Wakandan barrier so Banner fly towards it and swiped Cull's body around the barrier, burning him.
Corvus Glaive - he thought Vision is too weak that's why he didn't anticipate him stabbing him from the back, the same move he used when he attacked him that night.
I believe they are demonstrated to be overpowerful but is too conceited thinking that the superheroes are weak to defeat them.
Give him some credit, in a deleted scene in End Game Ebony Maw Single handedly shattered the Mirror Dimension's entrance.
Which is no easy feat, since it took thanos TWO infinity stones to do what Ebony Maw did. (Reality and Power)

This seemed to miss the point.
Ebony Maw, in terms of magical capabilities, is no where near Masters of the Mystic Arts. However, he is powerful in the sense that he doesn't need time to charge up his powers. That's what made Doctor Strange seem like the underdog.
Ebony maw (in the MCU) uses telekenisis which is a very basic power but it's his complete mastery over it and how effortlessly he can move objects, people and even the ground. If we had seen a face off between ebony maw and doctor strange in endgame 9 out of 10 time the Ebony Maw would win. There's a reason why he was only in 12 seconds of the final battle in endgame. He's so op and personally my favourite. As much as I like Dr Strange he has no chance against Ebony Maw.

Answer: very powerful but not powerful enough to fix that ugly mug.
There is nothing to indicate that his powers are automatic. Subtle as they are, he always needs to perform hand motions to manipulate matter, and he's not very fast about it either.
Which means you could kill this guy with a sniper rifle. One shot.
