I did my hair like this for school and they made me put y head in the sink and try to brush it down... the teachers are such tools
Too bad lol, most of the teachers on my school actually likes it haha, a lot of them asked me if I did it myself or if someone did it for me.
Also my wrestling coaches liked it, they even wanted to work on drills with me just it was fun and they wanted to see how strong the spikes actually were. (One of them actually stabbed himself in the eye)
My teachers dont really give a shit as they follow volusia county's dress code and it's not very strict

Doesn't surprise me. I'm 27, but I had a mohawk when I was in middle school and after about 2 months during a meeting with the principal and vice regarding my constant ditching of all my classes, they told me and my parents that I would no longer be allowed to wear my hair that way because they recieved complaints that I was running at people "like a bull". LOL they obviously made this up because doing such a hilarious thing had never even crossed my mind. Long story short, I told them to go pound sand and that I simply would not attend school at all in the foreseeable future and they backed down saying that they will just let it "run its course" since I changed my hairstyle all the time anyways. Wore it for another 2 months just out of spite. Fuck Catholic school.
I would kill myself if I forgot to put my shirt on before doing this hairstyle.
i did that once, but the spikes just bend, and bounce back :D
its not really a huge deal unless you liberty spikes are crazy long, even then they bend back

The time will always be different from person to person, depending on a lot of different factors.
For me, this took me about over one hour (and Im really rusty). But for a person thats doing it for the first time, it might take more. Tho once you really got the hang of it and built up the speed, I definitely think It can be done under one hour. Hope this will help you mate and as a last thing.. Im not awesome, more like a huge dork.. haha. You are awesome tho for your kindness, thanks so much!
It took me one and a half hours for a mohawk spikes (so 70% less hair) tho it was 5 times longer than his if not even more

@@christinemartin1352 its mostly the hair sprays fault if u got a shitty hairspray it wont stay up. another reason why is cuz of how thick ur hair is. the thinner ur hair is, the lesser is the weight. ive got shoulder length hair and i can do my liberty spikes easily after thinning out my hair at the stylist

About an hour and I was really rusty at it. It will probably take longer when you first start to do it, but over time you will build up more skill at it and will be able to do it much faster.

Hmm, if your hair doesn't have any major defects (like it easily brakes or is very damaged) then I think that this can be done to any type of hair. You might have to develop a little different method for the specific hair you have. For example if you have thick and curly hair you might wanna spend some extra time on making your hair straight.
To summon it up, yes I think that it can be done. Only you might have to tweak the method a little so that it works for your hair.

You made that look so easy. Hah. I'm doing a "punkaoke" (punk-themed Karaoke) this Saturday and am going to try real hard like to do liberty spikes. I have relatively short hair so hopefully they will turn out half as well as yours did. I'm glad I saw this; I went out and bought some got-2b-glued gel but I think I'll just try hairspray at firs. Hopefully the liberty spikes will pull the whole costume together! So thanks for being the first thing to pop up when I Googled "Liberty Spikes", hah.

you can use Elmer's glue for the tips of the spikes, that's what my buddy does with his Mohawk.
