@@Kefas_Yisekayah I am from the Bantu people near the border of Uganda and Congo. Uganda and Congo share the same Bantu tribes and families across our common border. Sadly Museveni and Kagame's extremist Rwandan/Burundian Tutsi refugees have committed genocide on close to 4 million Indigenous Ugandans and usurped the Ugandan government with backing of Britain, Israel, USA and EU!! Yet many people are deceived to believe that Ugandans have invaded Congo when the truth is, the invasion of Congo is by Museveni and Kagame's extremist Rwandan/Burundian Tutsi led refugee hegemonists who impostor as Indigenous Ugandans after many years of having lived in Uganda as refugees!! We need the Congolese to know that Uganda which is majority Bantu people is under occupation of the British imposed Rwandan/Burundian Tutsi refugees. It is sad that the Bantu leadership of Angola, South Africa and Namibia has been deceived by Museveni/Kagame's extremist Rwanda/Burundian Tutsi Nilo/Cushitic Hamite haters of Bantu people. Former president Mbeki of South Africa believes Kagame and Museveni's lies that the war in Congo is about Congo not accepting the Rwandans as citizens of Congo. While in reality the Tutsi are about one million in Rwanda out of 11 million people, majority of whom are Bantu Hutu and Twa. The tiny Tutsi minority oppresses and rules the majority in Rwanda!! In Congo the majority Kinyarwanda speakers are Hutus not Tutsis. There are less than 300,000 Tutsis in Congo but Museveni/Kagame are using their M23 Tutsi/Banyamulenge terrorist proxies to claim parts of Congo. Which is against the African Union's acceptance of colonial borders!! Africa Union (OAU) decided, that in order to stop border wars in Africa, borders left by the colonialists must not be changed.

According to sources on the NET, theres over 400 tribes and 500 languages of BANTU in Africa. That being said, its BANTU that is common amongst them , though is there a faith, culture, a knowledge of one God, and is that God the God of Abraham that is also common in BANTU'S?
I want to know what BANTU language is more understood between the many tribes, We know Bassa, Kru, Kikuyu, Meru, Gosha, Zande, Shona, Yoruba, Igbo, Xhosa, Zulu, etc are all BANTU languages ? If there is not one Bantu language, then how about the Bantu tribes adopt a universal BANTU language.
The most widely spoken Bantu dialect is Swahili as a first and language and second language. Most native speakers of Swahili live in Tanzania. However, it also spoken in Kenya, DR CONGO, and is the lingua Franca for the East African community. The other major Bantu dialects are Lingala spoken in DR Congo and Angola, and Zulu and Xhosa of South Africa and Zambia etc.

There is no Bantu origin of the name. Hebrew is a Semitic Language. He is right that Ibiru refers to the crossing of the river and what the Israelites called themselves after crossing into Canaan. I hate to pop his bubble with his mix-up of Kikongo and Kiswahili, but Habari, is an Arabic loan from "Khabar," meaning news, nothing more, nothing less. That is how it is used in Swahili. When you watch the News in Sawahili it is Habari, when you greet someone "Habari yako?" You are asking them what news they have. You can play around all day long swap consonants and come up with anything. It has no connection to the word Mbala. Bantu and Semitic are completely different language families. Bantu uses nominal Class systems made up of class prefixes to which words are assigned, the root can move to the classes to change its meaning as in diminutives and amplicatives. Verbs are brought 9in agreement with the mound through a system of pronominal concords. Nouns can be formed from verbs, by adding a bound class prefix and a modified functional ending. In Semitic languages, both nouns and verbs are formed around a triliteral radical root, ie 3 consonants. Doubling the middle consonant, changing vowel sequences and adding suffixes and prefixes will modify the word. Semitic languages also use Grammatical gender, like most European languages. Nouns are either masculine or feminine. Verbs and adjectives are brought into agreement with the noun.
My ancerstors were none of that.
