Can't wait to see your reaction to Steve vai TENDER SURRENDER (SteveVaiHimself) , also I'M THE HELL OUTTA HERE-- CROSSROADS GUITAR FESTIVAL with legendary bass player BILLY SHEEHAN on bass guitar with some interesting guitar playing in the middle of the tune, have a look at BLUE POWDER, from a show I saw , live at the Astoria London. The beautiful 'WHISPERING A PRAYER' live at the Astoria London, not the greatest camera work, but an amazing slow smooth instrumental, watch Steve's face playing with the crowd. Have a look at a young Steve vai in a movie from 1986, CROSSROADS, in an epic guitar battle with RALPH MACCHIO (THE KARATE KID) How's about a triple neck guitar solo start to a tune I KNOW YOU'RE HERE, Steve even sings near the end of this tune, Then some crazy wild guitar and bass with legendary bass player BILLY SHEEHAN on vocals, SHYBOY, live at the Astoria London.. I forgot about out one of the all time greatest guitar and bass masterclasses with BILLY SHEEHAN, 'JIBBOOM' Iive at the astoria London. Steve vai was voted one of the top ten guitarists of all time . Best wishes from the cold north east coast of England.
You just discovered the living legend. Wow! You guys are about to experience the most intense and innovative guitar player this world has ever witnessed. Extraordinary music that will bring you so much joy and emotion it'll stir the soul. Please react to: 'Touching Tongues'', 'Windows to the Soul'', 'Tender Surrender', 'Hand on Heart', 'The Riddle', 'Warm Regards', 'Frank', 'Lovely Elixir', 'Sisters', 'Crying Machine'........so many, enjoy 🎸
Thanks ladies! You guys really loved this one and that was fun to see. He started as a teenager with the hardest band to play in there ever was--Frank Zappa's. Even the transcription was super hard. He's also done amazing stuff in jazz with Chick Corea, and he's also played with Stevie Ray Vaughn. He also did the guitar parts for the movie Crossroads. You guys should think about doing the final duel from that. I suspect you'd enjoy the dramatics in it.
steve vie one of my fav guitarist ever, great reaction guys you gotta watch tender surrender its a different mood and one of the hardest guitar solos ever
I can tell by watching you chicks play air guitar that you have this one down. Now all you need is a couple of guitars and you'll be right up there with Steve! Cheers!
Great reaction. You two must be musicians? Although this is fantastic music, it can be over the top for the average person. And yes, Vai is incredible!!
If you’re doing guitarist reactions, you have to react to Steve vai’s tender surrender and Van Halen’s eruption. It has to be the LOVE versions. Those are the two best guitar performances of all time. I won’t be satisfied until you’ve watched them both :) yeah Eruption is long but seriously do it haha
Great reaction ladies,, love your heart felt reactions. Please react to the unique voice of Melody Cristea of Liliac (Lil-EEE-ack) - just released video cover of Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself For Loving You" or original song written and produced by the family "Mars"
I'm not much of a steve via fan, to me he is a copy cat many of his riffs and sounds he got from other guitarists before his time, especially Pat Travers and Frank Marino two greats that made people like steve via and Joe Satriani
This has to be one of the most ridiculous reasons I have ever heard for not being a "fan". LMAO...So in your estimation, everything Pat Travers has played came from straight out of nowhere? No influences, you know, maybe his whole repertoire of things that have already been played a million times by thousands of other guitarists? I love Pat Travers but to imagine that he is any less of a copy cat than Vai is atrociously wrong. It's called influence, every musician has some.

When you can play guitar like that, you don't need a singer
Joe Satriani was Steve's guitar teacher.
