You gotta give props to logic for this record. It’s actually fantastically produced and the flows aren’t as corny as his more commercial albums. Great album
This era of logic has got to be the most relaxing and good feeling of vibes I’ve heard from ever since the incredible True story. I feel like ever since the Bobby Tarantino mixtape was drop everything after that has been okayish, good, or mix messaged. I feel like half of the albums were rushed with just the recycling lyrics of nostalgia from his early works like he’s been doing in Bobby tarantino ll(the mixtape is really nice though don’t get me wrong) and YSIV(the vibes are nice but that’s all it was just vibes) also COADM felt super rushed. He had some cool and decent tracks but he mostly had filler joints on there too. But when no pressure came out it felt so highly focused with the bars and the rhymes and even the structure with his flows on songs were incredible and on top of that the nostalgia aesthetic and vibes he brought back felt super nice and along with the high quality production throughout the album was top tier. And ever since that album got released he started making music that is super laid back and also hyped up but they were just fun and gritty with the mindset of him not giving a fuck anymore and just having fun with it. His Twitch beat tape was vibin, The Doc project was hilarious, the Madgic joints he released were insane holy shit, and then this album right here felt like a cool ass fever dream of something he has always wanted to have ever since the peak of his career and it shows. I’m super proud of him for it too and the product of that of his dream project that came out was amazing with the concept of the mixtape/album being a homage to hip hop where it’s nothing but having fun while still focusing on the craft with no pressure of anything on the back. Can’t wait to here College parks after this and hopefully ultra 85(if it’s even made lol).
So glad to see a good score for the man Bobby it's been a minute awesome review Anthony I felt the same way in the fact that this is a 7/10 album but there are still somethings I disagree with you on but that's OK because everybody is allowed to have there own opinion also I just have to say that I'm glad you and logic get along and have a good understanding and to finish off i just want to say this is one of my top 10 albums of the year so far and I hope other people like it as well 🙃

Honestly I think this is Logic’s strongest album, at least since The Incredible True Story (if not even better than that). Granted, there are a handful of tracks that I skip immediately when they come on. But, on the whole, I think Logic is in a space that’s more authentic to himself, he’s having more fun, and he’s showcasing his broad range of talents and inspirations. Rogue One, Tetris, Ten Years, Porta One, in my lifetime, vinyl days, Orville, etc so many tracks on here that are worth the repeat. The first half of Blackwhiteboy goes super hard, too. I’ve basically only been listening to this album since it dropped.
I dunno. I'm not a Logic fan, but I listen here and there. I've listened through the projects people say are good and just listened to the star tracks of the ones people say aren't for Logic. I actually really really like this project. Easily my favorite project from Logic. I'd actually give it a 9 and I think it's the second-best hip hop album dropped this year after Pusha T's album. I never thought I would ever say that about Logic, but I'm saying it. Though, the stuff he said about you was really weird.
My humble fella Billy Woods dropped. Kendrick dropped. Didn't Conway the machine drop too? Denzel Curry dropped too. I like this album but imo those are better.
@@letsfindsomepeace9207 I've listened to all those albums. They were good, but I wouldn't listen to any of those albums long-term which is why they ain't at the top of the list. For me, an album needs to be fun but not corny, hard-hitting, unique, and good lyrics for me to listen to it long-term. I didn't get that from Billy, Kendrick, Conway, or Denzel. They were missing the fun part. Kendrick came close, but when he was fun, it was corny. You outta pocket lol.
There's an insane amount of J Dilla & Madlib worship on this album. So much that it's almost a flaw upon the album itself. At least there's probably going to be more people bumping to Dilla, Madlib and probably even DOOM.

Giving yourself a 7 is an understatement. You’re a 10 in our hearts!
I'm really sad this didn't get the yellow flannel, but happy he got a solid score.
This guys opinion matter I give it a 10 🤡
Logic can do what you do. But can you do what he does? That is the question of the day
Those bars about him wanting to commit suicide were heartbreaking😪
lmao
Bruh
Woo
Corny you mean
Not over the jump scare that happens at 5:43
So glad to see a good score for the man Bobby it's been a minute awesome review Anthony I felt the same way in the fact that this is a 7/10 album but there are still somethings I disagree with you on but that's OK because everybody is allowed to have there own opinion also I just have to say that I'm glad you and logic get along and have a good understanding and to finish off i just want to say this is one of my top 10 albums of the year so far and I hope other people like it as well 🙃
5:42 your facial hair magically disappearing during the review was so unexpected I didn’t even realize it at first. I’m not sure if it’s a hidden joke but it was pretty funny. 😂
surprised LaDonda isn’t on the least favourite track
Especially with how fire bleed it is, it's my favorite track from the album
@@coleintheville117 same dude
@@coleintheville117 Rogue One is better tbh
@@Satire_Filmz ok
Album so good he lost his mustache and grew it back immediately
Props to Logic for opening up about his previous suicidality, it's ok to not be ok, Bobby!
Really liked this album. It’s almost like a montage of various sounds and styles
More like a montage/tribute to classic hip hop
That "whoo~" after saying that you can relate.. You have unlocked a memory I have tried to bury deep within.. Shudders
Good on you for not overhyping your album, its good to be humble and acknowledge your own shortcomings.
5:45 anyone else notice this man just randomly shaved half way through the review🤣
If you had told me that Logic would have put out my favorite project of this year I’d laugh in your face.
lmao melon putting the ad right after he says “ladonda” knowing i won’t leave the video
Really nice review, weird that you made all of your favorite tracks in the description LaDonda but good review nonetheless!
Lol at the sneak diss from Fantano with the thumbnail of him yawning 👀🥱
Finally someone spoke out about the fantasy that many artists and many of us have -> killing Melon.
The only thing that hurts is that this track doesn't have a Cal Chuchesta feature.
I feel like you’ll grow to love this album (it doesn’t feel like you really dislike any of the songs on this album) and he dropt this album at the perfect moment in tine
I’ve basically only been listening to this album since it dropped.
logic here inventing a new genre to fight the mumble rap: humble rap
Nah J Cole already did that
Qumble rap
Blu has been underrated for years. Fantastic wordsmith, and his verse on Orville was FIRE, my god
FOREAL
I think most of Anthony's fanbase might even like Logic's music.
There's an insane amount of J Dilla & Madlib worship on this album. So much that it's almost a flaw upon the album itself. At least there's probably going to be more people bumping to Dilla, Madlib and probably even DOOM.
i feel as if the madlib and quasimoto worship has a bit to do with the madgic album where logic freestyles on a bunch of madlibs old beats that egon gave to logic
Whether you love or hate this album, the album cover is a 10.
it really is incredible that fantano is able to keep it professional and remain critical of the album despite having a personal relationship (regardless of how intimate they are) and being featured on the album (even if it's small and seemingly random).
i love that bleed it track, a true beastie boy tribute. also that track with Royce, the beat is insane.
if LaDonda was on "ye" you would have it as a favorite track
*_Ok honest question:_*
Might this project be 30 tracks long, so Logic can get out of his DefJam contract sooner?
I love that he’s gotten to the point with Logic that he’s callin him Bobby! I dig their friendship and love that it doesn’t affect Anthony’s review
I really enjoyed this album. You can truly see Logic's growth here.
Logic is that younger brother that you may poke fun at, may sometimes hate on, but at the end of the day still hope the best for the guy
the way melon talks about this album makes me have a different feel towards other melon. thanks for forming my opinions
bros mustache said imma head out rq 5:44
Honestly this is a really great album top 3 of logics discography. But I'd be lying if i said I didn't hide the interludes/skits to keep bumping these bars.
"I guess I can relate..... whooo"
I see you Fantano
I loved Vinyl Days. Awesome record.
I like how he finishes the recording shaves and comes back to record some more
Really solid album all around. The title track itself is insane. Serious MF DOOM vibes
Not every style of rap with unusual beats is MF DOOM style lmao
@@kidrenegade8525 Just the flow and beat reminds me of MF DOOM and Logic even said on No Pressure that he was influenced by MF DOOM. Even the Doc D thing is MF DOOM inspired. Shaddup
@@GoodDealington bro stfu. Every Underground rapper with even a semi decent producer does this ,Mos Def, Joey Badass, Curry etc
@@GoodDealington have you heard MF DOOM before, they do not flow the same
14:29 that face lol “From Logic” too much shade Melon
fantano giving himself a 7 on his own album is patting yourself on the back at its finest
Am I the only one that noticed Fantano losing his beard at 5:43? 🧍🏽♂️
Phenomenal album. The most compelling part was when Logic mentioned hanging out with Kendrick recently, who confessed that “u” was written about Fantano, and the original track name was going to be “melun” 🤯🤯🤯🤯
😂😂😭
Well , I can say for sure logic isn't the only one who's fantasized about that.
Can't recommend Nezi enough and I'm so glad she got a feature on this!! She's been grinding for years and deserves the shine 🥰
If you wanna hear more from her I recommend "N.E.Z." and "Jugg Everything"
5:42 did you get a haircut, Anthony?
I always enjoy Logic's beats and production even if the lyrics don't hit
Lol you explaining your and Logics interaction for the voice memo was great
Interested in seeing if he got over the initial shock of the LaDonda bars and realized Logic was being hyperbolic to emphasize a feeling, and not being literal.
I like that this review took so long that he shaved midway though and then regrew the beard in the next segment.
Those Logic’s interviews softened him from giving him a harsher review and score, I swear.
No question there's at least a conflict of interest
Uhhhhh you didn’t see how horribly fantano reacted to the track it was kinda hard to watch
A NINE OUT OF TEN! REVIEW IT AGAIN! A NINE OUT OF TEN! REVIEW IT AGAIN! A NINE OUT OF TEN! REVIEW IT AGAIN!
I loved this album. Lofi old school hip hop vibes, I’ve been bumping it on repeat
6:00 is not ridicolous if he want to do what he want, that is the main thing of this project
