Taking a moment away from the same recycled jokes in the comments here, this album is very impressive. Logic is clearly in love with the art form of rap, and had a great deal of fun on this record. So much replay value and some super addictive boom-bap beats. Egon is the godfather of vinyl sampling. He got the stash.

The coolest part about this era of Logic’s career is that he seems to be having fun and not taking everything so seriously. And with that, I think it screams potential for a future where Logic might take himself a little more seriously and maybe strike true gold.

i think "genuine friends" is a little much, considering Fantano very obviously seems to not be interested in any kind of actual friendship with Logic. Friendly, maybe, but the "friendship" seems pretty one sided to me. Maybe he thinks that being actual friends with Logic will hurt his objectivity when reviewing his albums, or at the very least make viewers question his objectivity. Regardless, for Logic to go from wanting to murder Fantano to calling him a "homie", and for fantano to give him a 1/10 to multiple 7/10s, I would say that yeah its been an interesting arc to say the least

We love to judge anyone for saying they thought about killing someone like we haven’t had the thought about complete strangers in our lifetime. Logic just has a platform to say how he was feeling and he says what we assume artists think when they see negative reviews of their work. I don’t think the bar was at all out of line. I really hope that you'd at least rate this a strong 7 to a light 8. I genuinely think this album deserves all the credit that it gets and more. It's such a fantastic piece of work and possibly my favourite logic album ever. I truly wish him the best and it makes me happy that he's now focusing on the art rather than the reactions on his art. It can easily get to an artist I definitely get that but once you reach the point where you no longer give a shit and you just do what you love to do, that's where I'll have my utmost respect for you and I personally feel like Logic did that. I'd rate this a light to decent 8 personally but I just meant that I hoped for an 8. Great review though!

This era of logic has got to be the most relaxing and good feeling of vibes I’ve heard from ever since the incredible True story. I feel like ever since the Bobby Tarantino mixtape was drop everything after that has been okayish, good, or mix messaged. I feel like half of the albums were rushed with just the recycling lyrics of nostalgia from his early works like he’s been doing in Bobby tarantino ll(the mixtape is really nice though don’t get me wrong) and YSIV(the vibes are nice but that’s all it was just vibes) also COADM felt super rushed. He had some cool and decent tracks but he mostly had filler joints on there too. But when no pressure came out it felt so highly focused with the bars and the rhymes and even the structure with his flows on songs were incredible and on top of that the nostalgia aesthetic and vibes he brought back felt super nice and along with the high quality production throughout the album was top tier. And ever since that album got released he started making music that is super laid back and also hyped up but they were just fun and gritty with the mindset of him not giving a fuck anymore and just having fun with it. His Twitch beat tape was vibin, The Doc project was hilarious, the Madgic joints he released were insane holy shit, and then this album right here felt like a cool ass fever dream of something he has always wanted to have ever since the peak of his career and it shows. I’m super proud of him for it too and the product of that of his dream project that came out was amazing with the concept of the mixtape/album being a homage to hip hop where it’s nothing but having fun while still focusing on the craft with no pressure of anything on the back. Can’t wait to here College parks after this and hopefully ultra 85(if it’s even made lol).

Honestly I think this is Logic’s strongest album, at least since The Incredible True Story (if not even better than that). Granted, there are a handful of tracks that I skip immediately when they come on. But, on the whole, I think Logic is in a space that’s more authentic to himself, he’s having more fun, and he’s showcasing his broad range of talents and inspirations. Rogue One, Tetris, Ten Years, Porta One, in my lifetime, vinyl days, Orville, etc so many tracks on here that are worth the repeat. The first half of Blackwhiteboy goes super hard, too. I’ve basically only been listening to this album since it dropped.
