I think what the DA has to do is think about how they're gonna solve all the massive problems in SA and break it down for the ppl on ground level. Governing is much more than just preventing corruption and ending loadshedding. Yes the ANC needs to go asap. All of us agree on that. They need a plan on how they're gonna tackle real issues for the ppl especially those in disadvantaged communities. Nothing can be free and creating jobs is what will allow ppl to afford but that also won't happen with the massive prices on essentials. Does the DA have a plan on how to decrease fuel prices? Are they willing to decrease fuel levies which in turn will decrease everything else like food prices and public transport. Are they willing to decrease municipal charges cos it's exorbitant and should be adjusted according to your means and value of your property. What is their plan regarding crime? It's out of control and it's safe nowhere. I just want to see an active plan for the poorer communities from the DA. Nobody is expecting them to solve it overnight but at least show the ppl that you place importance on the real issues and I will have more faith in the DA.
The DA is already doing that by taking the fight regarding fuel prices, food prices and the cost of living crisis to Parliament! We had services we had full maintainance the townships were cleaned regularly like clockwork housing maintainance was an almost immidiate thing with a department in every township

I think what the DA has to do is think about how they're gonna solve all the massive problems in SA and break it down for the ppl on ground level. Governing is much more than just preventing corruption and ending loadshedding. Yes the ANC needs to go asap. All of us agree on that. They need a plan on how they're gonna tackle real issues for the ppl especially those in disadvantaged communities. Nothing can be free and creating jobs is what will allow ppl to afford but that also won't happen with the massive prices on essentials. Does the DA have a plan on how to decrease fuel prices? Are they willing to decrease fuel levies which in turn will decrease everything else like food prices and public transport. Are they willing to decrease municipal charges cos it's exorbitant and should be adjusted according to your means and value of your property. What is their plan regarding crime? It's out of control and it's safe nowhere. I just want to see an active plan for the poorer communities from the DA. Nobody is expecting them to solve it overnight but at least show the ppl that you place importance on the real issues and I will have more faith in the DA.
The DA is already doing that by taking the fight regarding fuel prices, food prices and the cost of living crisis to Parliament!
The DA presented many excellent and very workable solutions to these problems eg zero rating Vat on essential and staple food items, cutting all the fuel levies on petrol etc , but the ANC did nothing to alleviate the plight of ordinary South Africans!
