- Speaking to the Mail & Guardian, DA leader John Steenhuisen says a coalition with the ANC might be the ‘least worst option to prevent the radicals from taking over’. The Democratic Alliance leader also said he respected people for getting a degree but university could not have taught him what he knows after 23 years in politics.
He has answered the questions well.

I thought that John answered tricky questions very well. I believe that many black people have a blind spot iro the DA and given that thugs like Zuma and Malema can expect approx 20% of the national vote, I believe that blind spot may cost the country dearly. Those black voters need to grow up and vote along the lines of values and principles, instead of dangerous populist personalities.

The Top 15 best run Municipalities in SA ( Clean Audits) are all governed by the DA with an outright majority!!
Most of these are in the Western Cape , but the DA also now governs with a majority in Midvaal ( by far the best Municipality in Gauteng ), in Kouga in the Eastern Cape and more recently in uMngeni Municipality in KZN, where the duo of Mayor Chris Pappas (32) and his Deputy Mayor, Sandile Mnikathi (28) are making waves!! The best Metro in SA is Cape Town, and by far the best run Province in SA ( according to STATS SA) is the Western Cape!!

Unemployment remains static in Coloured and Black communities, they claim they create most jobs, yet it does not filter down to these communities. You see more and more people from neighbouring countries being employed than locals. Education standards is getting worse rather than better. DA has no interest in developing the Non White community. Why should Non Whites bother voting for them. And you can dismissive for all you want, it does not change anything.

My problem with DA is they prioritise the wishes of the investors more than the wishes of the majority of the country. Privatisation as much as it sounds right. It doesn't seem to heal the injustices of this country.the DA hasn't answered the basic question of the 80% landlessness citizens. It doesnt make sense to identify as a south African while you dont even own a piece of South Africa everything as is secondary i don't get it how they ignore this.
My problem with your stupid statement is that you have not given any thought to your ideas. Allow me to demonstrate. The Current Criminal Enterprise ANC has sufficient land (AS THE CURRENT LARGEST LAND HOLDER AND CUSTODIAN) to currently parcel out land to all those dispossessed "your so called 80%" as if all Black people were landowners in the past (which is just factually false) of land, yet they have not. Why???? because you don't want land instead you want the farmland or the cash from sale thereof. Should you give away all that land (farmland) given the current track record of land restitution where that land (farmland) is likely to transform from commercial to subsistence farming. You would literally end up starving an entire Nation. You also seem to hold Private entities as a problem in SAfrica whilst not recognising that were it not for the "Private Sector" in SAfrica your current survival is solely because of it.
Here is my question to you.. What Policy would you like to see enforced without starving and collapsing the SAfrican Economy and Nation "that rights the wrongs of the past" without creating wrongs of the Present?

To argue that a DA / Criminal Enterprise ANC Coalition would bring about stability in SAfrica is a passive acknowledgement that the Criminal Enterprise ANC destabilised SAfrica in the first place and that the DA is required to bring about stability. So, with that mentality in mind why not just simply Vote DA and exclude the ANC altogether, would that line of thinking not bring about an even greater stabilization? Rather though they choose to do the mental gymnastics to argue for a DA / ANC Coalition allowing them to free themselves up to Vote for the Criminal Enterprise ANC and not break their value of not voting for a white man. This thinking is just Racist. No friends, to vote for the Criminal Enterprise ANC this year can only be done so by a Racist "MAMPARA" and should be considered as a crime against humanity.

John Steenhuisen and the DA must be careful in their statements at this time, AND BE CLEAR, that any form of coalition with the ANC is not an option for the DA.....regardless of the consequences. That is the basis of a person (or a party's) word in an agreement with others. Going against that, is not only in breach of an agreement but sows distrust in that person (or party) and sends a message of uncertainty to its supporters (its voters), although the leadership clearly MUST already consider all possible outcomes after the election. A coalition with the ANC, EFF or MK cannot be an option, simply because it means a coalition with an entity that do not have or share the same principles and values, as is made clear in the DA manifesto. DO NOT LET THE INCREASING PRESSURE OF THE TIMELINE INFLUENCE YOUR THINKING!! Make time to honestly reflect about what you are, what you stand for and where you want to be.
The M&G journalist clearly did her job by asking some tough questions and being persistent, but it seems to me she also had another agenda from the start: "To steer the interview into a direction of focusing on DA and MPC party transgressions rather than focusing on issues relating to the upcoming election as it stands at present." Perhaps an M & G editorial aim to support the present ANC government in their attempt to continue their reign of corruption and non-service delivery after May 29???? Makes one think......
