This is the tribute to Eddie too. The guitar sound lives on in Wolfgang, thank you so much. Wow Taylor Hawkins brings so many people together. Wolfgang you have hit a very high bar for us fans. Awesome.

This is really incredible. To see Wolfgang do such a bang-on tribute to his father really hit me in the feels. Band sounds killer too. I wish I were there!
I saw VH with Wolf on bass around 2014. You could see the pride in Eddie's eyes as he was onstage jamming with his son. Glad to hear EVH's guitar genes got passed on!
Maaaan! That was fuckin awesome! If that's the only time Wolf plays his dads stuff, I'm glad we have it here forever. Great freakin job by everyone... gotta take that show on the road!
Wolfgang absolutely nailed everything in that to a T. Justin Hawkins really great as well. His RUclips channel is worth a check out, reviewing songs with a lot of good humour and genuine love for music shining through. Seems like a genuinely really nice human being
It's insane to think Dave is probably the weak link in this lineup (no discredit to him). These guys are all so good it's just insane though. Justin's vocals have been one of the highlights for me out of the two tribute concerts, this is a good example of why Freese is "the man" when bands need a drummer, and Wolfgang's playing is impeccable.
I think Wolfie’s slot and Shane’s are my favourite bits from this tribute concert both son’s did their respective fathers proud. Hope Wolfie plays a few of Dad’s song more often and can’t wait to see what Shane does as a adult. 🤘❤️
I am the last person to jump on a bandwagon because so and so is the son of this gone great musician because usually the anticipation is less than the result. But man I gotta admit Wolfgang is something else.
Hello love Thanks for the likes on my page and all the support shown as a special fan of mine, i hope you don't stop listening to my music , thanks for the sincere compliment and love towards my music
It’s amazing to see the sons and daughters and young ladies and gentlemen with this raw natural talent plus decades of training and practicing and kicking ass on stage just like their parents
Wolfie got his dads chops and his moms cheeks. My first concert ever was VH and even though Wolfgang does like to play his own style, I'm glad he is keeping his dads sound alive.
I honestly believe that Wolfgang should hook up with his uncle Al and ask Michael Anthony and David Lee Roth to join them in a Van Halen tribute tour... There's no replacing anyone, especially Eddie, but c'mon... he sounds that good! What a great way to keep his dad's music and legacy alive and current. I'd be first in line for that show.
When I saw Van Halen when Wolfgang was 15, I was so upset that it wasn't Michael Anthiny singing the backups, I however could not deny his bass playing. I also had no idea he could rip on every instrument
I thought EVH's tone was going to die with him. Undeniably it is embued within his son. Brought a tear to my eye to see the VH torch is still being carried by EVH's namesake.
You recorded awesome footage. You had great seats. Not only were you able to capture the music on the large screens, you also captured the reaction from the audience and knew just how long to hold it there. Outstanding! 🤘
Giving me the chills. Those guys rock. The human spirit must rise above adversity. As these gentleman prove. It can be done. Carry on. Rock dogs. Absolutely great cheers.
I was never a VH fan, maybe a couple of songs when they first broke. I always thought they were boring, heavy- handed, over the top grand-standers, without substance or subtlety. Really not my cup of tea. But I gotta say, I was pleasantly surprised with Wolfie! He lit it up at both of the tribute shows, and IMHO is ALREADY a BETTER player than his dad. No posing, no ego- just some fantastic jamming! THIS Van Halen I would go see anytime!
I love both Josh Freese and Rufus Taylor as drummers for the Foos if they ever decide to do that. Wouldn't it be awesome though, if they could just continue to have these shows? All of these musicians who have passed. Does there music become unsung with the rest of the musicians alive? They should continue on in this sort of jam session. I just LOVE IT. It fulfills every rock need i have from all of these bands. Not just the foo fighters.
Awesome performance by all, one problem, one of the greatest lines in Rock and roll was omitted, " I don't feel tardy " or did I missed it because I'm tardy right now
wow - to take that stage and play iconic songs from your father - he is the shit - loved the first record - can't wait for more of his own stuff but would love to see him out with the VH boys - he can do it....
Thanks, man. Listening to the album now because of your post. I didn't know he had an album out, and it's kick-ass. Not my favourite style at all, but dude can flat out jam.

Wow, He plays like his father. He sounds like it too. That guitar sounds Eddie has is unique. A lot guitarists can copy and match that solo licks, but they cannot hit that sound. Very loud and clear. No buzzing of strings. Well his dad thought him every he knows.
I love how Justin is serving the song and putting his ego aside and fully supports Wolfie in shining big time!!
gave me goosebumps watching Wolf nail his fathers riffs!
I love how Dave is just a fan of everyone. he's like a kid on stage playing with his heroes.
Close your eyes and you’d swear that was Eddie playing.
Because basically you are... and that's a great thing.
Totally! He looks so much like his mama, though.
Agree 100%. Didn’t much care for the singer tho. 😕
Yup apple didn’t fall far from the tree

This is the tribute to Eddie too. The guitar sound lives on in Wolfgang, thank you so much. Wow Taylor Hawkins brings so many people together. Wolfgang you have hit a very high bar for us fans.
Awesome.
VH could’ve covered Tiny Tim and it would’ve sounded killer. It’s sad that the Van Halen camp can’t get their shit together for a tribute to Edward.
@@bryanfontaine9627 sad that Dave can’t sing anymore.
I got tears. just sayin
and Olivia Newton John... bass drum head
💯 Wolfie..we love you!
To know that a Van Halen will keep those songs alive brings me great satisfaction RIP Eddie.
It's impossible not to have goosebumps watching Wolfgang play his father's music. It's very special. 🤘🏽
