Amazing! Only one thing, I think there is some FPS mismatch - it's not smooth. I checked "statistics for nerds" and you are running at 25 fps. Almost every display have 60 Hz refresh rate so I guess the best would be to use 30 fps for the video as display will not have to skip or show the same frame that often.

That’s completely right! I shot this at 25 as I’m in PAL region so I get flickering otherwise but great to know that there is a way to fix this! I will have a look and if I could might drop you a message if I get stuck! Legend

@@MichaelHoughton_ I'm in the region where 50 Hz is used in power grid as well - same as you. I always set my project to true 30.0 fps (not like 29.97 fps as I want this White and Black to Color NTSC/PAL era to finally die). In DaVinci Resolve there is an option on each media when you drop it to the Media Pool (before you drop it to the timeline). Clip Attributes -> Video Frame Rate. You can choose exactly same frame rate as your project. It will change a bit the pitch of the sound of the video (I don't care about sound ;)) but frames will be matching 1:1 between project settings and clips settings. If you shoot at 25 fps you can also set clip attributes to 30 fps and place it in 30 fps project. Footage will be speed up (and sound pitch quite a lot) but you will still have flickering issue covered when you fly under 50 Hz lightbulbs and still end up with solid 30 fps for 60 Hz monitors. The solution for faster speed on the final video is to just fly with 83% of the speed (25fps/30fps) :D
BTW. Do you really fly a lot under lightbulbs? I saw your videos of open environment, cars in daytime on your channel. You can safely set 30 fps on your GoPro in those conditions.

I think I messed up the all the settings on this one to be honest on export from da Vinci. I was trying something new and it didn’t work clearly haha pity as it’s a sick clip! Will upload in another video I think

@@MichaelHoughton_ I think it's also at least partly RUclips's fault as 1080p footage is usually compressed to significantly worse quality than footage that is originally 1440p or higher. The difference is really noticable and could be caused by compression. Even when using a 1080p monitor/TV, which can not even display 1440p properly, the image is way better than when using 1080p. You could try it out in future videos :)
Also, awesome content! Am looking forward to future projects/videos! :)

@@WallskiFPV you legend! Appreciate the help on all this! I have started editing and outputting 4K stuff now so hopefully that helps. Bitrate double the frame rate, so around 50-60. Thanks again brother
