“Do not get attached to the bean” Me: too late, I love him and hope to see him thrive. Though if sad times does come, Baby Bird would take him to the rainbow bridge. Regardless of what happens, the baby bean is in good hands and paws ❤️
“Don’t get emotionally attached” - ha! Hahaha! Good one! Yeah, the moment we laid eyes on him.. we love him. Diana protect him and his health pls improve-! 🙏🥺
I totally needed this today because all my wonks are with sitters and I am at the Kerrville Folk Festival where I have been having dreams of literally some asshole dropping a cat with FIP on the ranch and what I would do in that scenario. all my wonks are fine in Austin BUT while in the middle of a festival related breakdown that is my department, two literal actual baby birds decided to drop onto MainStage during Ray Wylie Hubbard’s set and they said, “Panika knows about animals and looking up certified rehabbers!” so it has been A DAY.
One of my cats was misdiagnosed with FIP once; I'm no rescue, but I can tell you what I did. My boy Mishka was only four and I was hellbent on keeping him, so I tracked down and emailed the head researcher on the study where they successfully cured FIP. He replied and told me to contact this guy on Facebook. As it turns out, while the medication wasn't licensed in the US, it was available overseas. There was an entire Facebook group dedicated to importing it and curing FIP kitties. Tons of survivors. I wasted a lot of money on it since my boy was rediagnosed with lymphoma and I ultimately lost him eight months later after a bunch of chemo, but the experience wasn't for nothing. Having told my best friend about it, she was able to pass it to her friends when their kitten was diagnosed with FIP. Max is still alive and kicking today. I like to think my kitty helped in that. Sorry for the totally unsolicited comment, but... I see FIP and I feel obligated to share that it isn't an end all just in case someone doesn't know.
Oh my God, I've never considered angling the needle from the front for kitten subq fluids before 🤯. I always stress out so much about having the needle facing the back of their necks in the event they start squirming. I'm treating 3 for giardia rn and one of them needed fluids the other night.
He's so cute, he almost looks exactly like my Houdini. Really hope that this Silly Goose (a really good name someone on tt recommended) baby pulls through ❤
The two beans are wonderful ,but guess what the pod ,yes you are just adorable ,take it from a 61 on meds 😆.Ya I can feel you thinking 🤔 she one over done 🫘.Thank you and the beans for dropping by ,see you next time .😺🐾☘️💚🤗🇮🇪🫘
Wow. The universe needs to tone down it's bean distribution system. They keep coming out wonky. I think the system needs maintenance
