He can't help that his vet isn't open 24/7, but there are other vets. Megan is saying she's not a licensed vet, but that does not mean she doesn't know the signs of when an animal needs to go to the vet. Him being allergic to humans is the icing on the adorable cupcake that is Zabi. His whiskies, his little meow, his love for people in spite of everything bad people did to him... he's the most perfect lil' dude ever.

I would, but I'm also pressed for rent. Especially now that Mom's quitting her job and I'm not going to have an income anymore.

So happy to see Zabi healing so well. He deserves nothing less than a full and complete recovery. The accompanying dramatic dialog is still pretty over the top, however. It becomes a distraction from the accomplishment of Zabi’s incredible surgery, no offense intended.
