2013 VW Passat Tail Light Removal

I am changing out my tail light bulb that burnt out on my 2013 VW Passat.

I am a 53 yo female with a 2013 Volkswagen Passat that “had” a right rear directional bulb out… I followed this video and replaced my bulb (thanks for the part number) all by myself!! I don’t have much money so for 5.47 and your video I replaced my bulb! I feel SO empowered right now!! I can’t thank you enough!!

I stopped at auto zone but the guy didn’t know how to do it. So I looked up your video and did it by myself!

One of the top or bottom tabs was very difficult. By getting the other 3 first, then it was easier to get ot out. Referring to the red light assembly.

@ Kurtizstan- I would figure that the bulbs would be the same. Sylvannia 7506 is what I put in my Passat. You can pick them up from any auto parts store.
