I think you should have added a controller overlay, so I can see if you brake or just let go of your gasbutton

I'm not good at dribbling but whenever I tap the gas button the ball just completely leaves my car so I recommend just letting go of the accelerator briefly. Test it out for yourself
If you pay attention to the little specks of boost coming out of his back end while dribbling, that’s when he accelerates and when it goes away that’s when he’s letting off / braking. You can figure it out best from paying attention with your peripheral vision keeping ur eye on the ball and that’s actually better to pay attention to, opposed to him putting the controller overlay up, you’d be paying attention to the side of the screen.
Personally I never reverse unless the ball is falling behind me so I just let go of the acceleration. Im Diamond 1 so I have adecent understanding of how it works

Or you can’t scoop it from the side

kro, i watch a lot of the pro youtubers, i just want to say dude i love the way you speak with the intensity and depth you do it - you're clearly one of the best in the game and show me every time how much we can all learn from you. please never stop man!
I learn a lot from tutorial videos and then implementing the taught mechanics in game rather than just trying stuff with no goal myself in training, especially when it comes to dribbling and flicks, as I’m new to adding these mechanics in game modes. Especially 1’s. Thanks Kro.

How does the ball magnetize to your car...when it repels from mine?
He's using the magnet power up from Rumble. You can buy it with money in RL shop and apply it to normal game modes

This is not for me lol. Okay lets get the ball on top of my car. Poke it at minimum speed and it flies away to far for me to get to it. I dont get it lol

One tip for anyone reading this, try matching the ball speed beside a rolling ball, and turn in to it like it's a bounce dribble. This should pop the ball up, and drive underneath while matching speed. It's incredibly difficult and I haven't figured it out much yet but this helps. Johnnyboi's video "important skills to learn at each rank" has a couple good tips for learning to dribble. Cheers and good luck!

I put 30 minutes straight into dribbling in free play, and it helped a surprising amount.
I'm good at 2s and 3s but I'm bad at 1s, is that normal kro?
Yeah, I think that's normal. For me at least. 2s and 3s play a lot different than 1s.

It's a totally different game mode, takes a lot of time to know how to play 1s well since it's 100% individual play rather than doubles or 3s where u can focus on passing
I know someone who is champ2 in 1v1 but can't get past dia 1 in 2v2

Dude try to prevent using boost. only use it when you absolutely have too
I was the same I managed to slow the ball down by boosting until the ball was on my spoiler then stop accelerating just roll and tap accelerator to keep the ball on the top of the car. Only boost when the balls falling off the front of your car

Side note: I think a goood flick / dribble training piece of advice would be to practice perhaps with a flat car (mantis, breakout, dominus, etc) just to start off and get used to something a little easier to handle with. Regardless of ur main car, it’ll get you a better grasp on the mechanics of what you need to do, then once you get really good with a flatter car, you’ll be able to apply it to your main.
But then wouldn’t it be easier to start with your main car so that you can continue with that instead of a whole new hitbox and size of car

okay first thing I wanna say is the test of skill and confidence is someone who can do it and not afraid to show everyone how they do it!! thank you kronovi a true champion in my option amazing video!!! My question is... can anyone dribble well constantly or to be more exact balance the ball on their car while in ball cam only??? I can dribble decent but i have always had an issue switching cameras in game.. it always throws me off..
if u guys are heaving trouble getting the ball on your car try using the dominus first, its hit box makes doing this SOOOOOOOOO much easier than using an octane or something else

I find wall aerials easy but i find it hard to aerial off the ground xD.
I just cannot keep it on top my car, I'm struggling to maintain my speed and it's quite frustrating, I've been spending so much time today on this and it's not been very rewarding

I have been having a problem with popping the ball up and getting under it... then i was watching and about 4:37 is when I looked at how you were doing it... for the beginners you tap the ball and once you do that boost til the balls up and a tiny bit ubove you then stop boosting and just hold the accelerator.

First time i touch the ball it flings 234 feet away. Like even the slightest touch and i cant manage it. Does car affect dribbling a lot?

Hey Kro, my binding for air roll is R1 for right air roll and L1 for left air roll should I just have one or the other? Also, I was thinking that I should just have 'air roll' instead of right or left?
