I just finished the book. The way Pacat turned EVERYTHING around left me just speachless. I don‘t even know what to hope for from now on but I‘m DYING to find out how the story goes on.
Just finished Dark Rise and can’t wait for the next book!!! The entire novel I’m second guessing everything haha loved it!
It is good? I have already finished captive prince trilogy a long time ago I read Fence just recently and I love both of the so I'm expecting Dark Rise to be good as well...
@@justaway-senpai8922 it’s good. Took me a while to finish it but that’s because of school. The characters are really good. The slow burn is gonna be that if Captive Prince which I really enjoyed. And every detail matters! How was Fence?! Haven’t read it yet

When I read the ending, I was SO shocked, and then I sat down and read it again, because reading this was so intense and overwhelming, I had to feel that again, it was just absolutely crazy... She really had me here. The tension between the characters... it was beyond everything.

As someone who has read Pacat's previous series I anticipated the ending way too early. :'( It was such a great climax but it basically unrolled exactly as I thought it would.
I regret finishing this book within 3 days. I can't wait for the second book! I'll be sure to take my time next time lol

It's the first book so there will be more but it's the only one out right now.
