    They should have named it Hooligan. An excellent all rounder for average Indian riders esp the ladies who want to tour. No fuss. Wide tyres. Showa suspension. Useful gadgetery bits. Globally tried and praised engine with great gear ratios. Low cost, low weight due to single cylinder but enough punch for even enthusiasts. 6 gears hopefully. And for the price. I think they have the perfect adventure bike for budget buyers here. A lot is left desired but to avail such one must pay for a bike and mind you those bikes too have stupid expenses every now and then. So enjoy this superb launch.

    Way can't they do something clean like look at the back mudguard section. Re just take their Himalayan and reduce suspension travel, reduce seat height, make a connection with handle and headlight and there it is the with a New name, the scrambler 411,the guerrilla 450.

    • @vineethg6259
      @vineethg6259 Месяц назад +1

      What exactly do you mean by "clean" here? You wanted them to engineer this bike from the ground up with a new engine, new frame and new componentshsraing nothing with other bikes in the RE lineup? That's a going to cost a lot of time and money which is going to reflect in the pricing. So they develop a platform and spawn multiple models out of it sharing many components. Its the economies of scale that allow companies to price their products competitively.

    • @abinantony8677
      @abinantony8677 Месяц назад

      @@vineethg6259 ya i don't care about same engine or frame or console or anything but atleast they should change the design. Just look at the ns and rs, same in the inside but in the out its two bikes. U can't just go on labeling things which are not really those things. If I show a person who don't know shit about bikes, the ns and rs, or the g 310 or gs 310. They will say it's 2 different bikes. But I show him a Himalayan and scram 411 he would say that's the same bike. Atleast try to make something different that meets the naked eye. Front section of guerrilla is different but the tail is same to same. And that too looks shit. Let's talk about another situation, if I took the tenre and connect the headlamp setup with the handle and reduce the suspension travel will it be a scrambler. I am too depressed with the scrambler they made from Himalayan, ask them to go and study wat a scrambler is, even a second grade kid would know the difference. Go and look at the bsa gold star and scrambler concept. Ya the best way to explain my idea to u is the xpulse 200 and the xpulse 200 t, the did the same thing reduced travel and kept the same thing mostly and they didn't changed the name to supermoto 200 or ghenkis khan 200. + Look at the gt650,int 650,(shotgun and meteor) all shares same things but are so different from outside, ergonomics ect. So they know how to do things but they try to tie hands when it comes to Himalayan.

    Rishaad the modes may not change until you turn the kill switch on I’m guessing. Most of the motorcycles are set up that way. I saw the kill switch off hence saying.

    One of the best value for money as they give the 450cc LC engine, wide tyres, comfort and stability because of higher wheelbase etc.
    But this lack purpose. For city, manageable as they improved low end torque by tuning , but road review yet to come, as they reduced number of teeth in rear sprocket. Also not much good for long trips. For occasional trips and daily commute, many bikes are available from reliable companies.
    A scrambler would have preferred than a roadster, even price increases by 20k, with a seat height of 800-810 mm, which is quite possible.
