Hey guys I have a pair, it's works, but it won't charge, when I plug it in to charge, orange light turns on, but turns off 30 secs later and it has 0 bars, how do I fix it?
I'm an audio engineer and I love everything about this headset except for the way it sounds. Pretty big deal. I realize that with proper EQ control I could probably tune it to be really nice, though. The bass and highs sound great, but everything from SFX to dialog (the important stuff in a video game) sounds washed and muddy. The software looks like it has enough EQ bands for me to get the job done, buuuuut... no Mac version. I realize this isn't uncommon, but all of the H9's literature calls them Mac compatible. I imagine that means just as a headset. I am only using this headset on my PS5. Now I have to get an old PC out, hope the software installs on it, calibrate from a PC (which is already pretty inconvenient, they're marketed hard at PS5 players so it would be nice to control them fully from the console), then spend some time going back and forth from console to PC fine tuning. They really should've just left the EQ flat (which is what I'm going to try first - I hate how consumer audio always applies some arbitrary coloring that makes the hardware sound worse, that comes from the smiley face EQ pop music theory and engineers already apply that to basically everything now so it's beyond overkill), the bass boost makes it sound terrible and turning it off is a bit overcomplicated. I'm going to do all of that to see if I can get the sound somewhere I like. I got them on eBay open-box for $150. If I can get them sounding good, I know I'll love them. I just might have to take off work to get it done...
The leather on the top middle section of my pair has started to come away from the spongey stuff. Doesn’t look like there is a way to clip it back in.. do you know where the serial number is located?
I got the Corsair HS80 and had to return them because one of the earcup sounded louder than the other and the iCue software (bloatware) is terrible. Reduced my performace by half. Uninstalling the software worked but whats the use of them without the software?
How does the sound quality, ANC and Bluetooth delay compare to Sony wh xm-4 and 5? I just bought xm 4 and now i feel like i should get this one instead and return the xm 4 as i got a week for return

Thank you for your review!! Is anc a game change for games like good of war and the witcher for example ? helps with inmersion or not that much? Thank you!
All these go for like $50 on ebay, but what's strange is they nearly all have missing top head bands (bad quality), so you'll need to buy a cheap headband cover. Probably worth it at the price point?
I had the original ps5 headset and they were pretty good but I got these H9 when FF16 came out and luckily I got them on sale for $200. I absolutely love them and definitely a big upgrade compared to the other ones! Comfort m, sound and everything is so much better especially comfort! Only thing I do hate is that I do experience the auto tune crackling sound more often here and there depending on the day.
Can I ask you, did they fix the instant battery low without any warning? Maybe a biep sound? If you do Pc EQ adjustment, does it save it for use on Ps5? Any update from your side would be great. Good and not good points with your experience.
@@giogamer4825 honestly so far they’ve been a great game changer for me. I don’t have a PC and have only used these for my PS5. I haven’t used them at all on PC nor done the EQ settings with them there. I’m currently playing FF16 with them and love it, have not had any issues with battery or low battery warnings but the only issue I have had is that randomly it’ll give a almost autotuned static sound recoil here and there while playing. Tried looking it up but didn’t really get an answer however I did notice that the external hard drive I had connected right next to my PS5 would be a problem, many have said the hard drive messes with the headset/usb dongle adapter Bluetooth connection which my be causing the issue. Overall I’m very happy with them and even more so that I was able to find them at a cheaper deal. Hope this helped
Are there’s another one of those headsets that are decent enough and they work well but they put the gaming label on them and charge $120 over what they should be? Or is the sound Quality and range actually worth?
Can you sink up the ps5 controller and headset on the PC side. Does it have software for that? I know the PC adapter for the Xbox supports up to 8 devices. I haven't tried if the headset works with it as well. And how it works. iv had a headset that didn't work very good. if it can take voice chat and play audio and do it correct i am all good with that. Just something on the list...
The mic quality turns this way down from an instant buy. If it were even a decent sounding mic it would have been an instant buy but it sadly sounds like a Turtle Beach from 10 years ago and that's a pretty big insult. I would love to know if I can change the mic capsule if I know how to tinker and solder.
Hope In the next head set they make the mic removable and make the head set look aesthetic for more personal life use cus I would really like to buy this but I don’t wanna be walking around with a mic and huge ass ear cups
for PS5 users... this headset is great if all you need is a volume up and down button,,, it's awesome for people that hate messing with bass, treble, or any eq settings because there is none. if you hate your own voice then this is perfect because you can barely hear yourself with the mic monitoring at full volume. the best part is (don't quote me on this) it must be made from biodegradable materials because 'within a year' this headset will self disintegrate and it'll have you back walking around in the store shopping for another one.
As far as I'm aware Sony wants to get more into Gaming stuff in the future. First Gaming product I see from them & I hope to see way more of them, since I pretty much love their often uniquely designs & quality of their products.

Are these good for ps5? Mic wise is mice good or bad?
Sony anything is A S S
love your reviews, nuck!
Can use them when im using incontact for work?
How about the inzone buds?
Like always great review but... U use your knife sharpening rod wrong :D
How about swetting issue ? Even winter my ears getting wet in all headphones tried.
I use my Sony MDR-1000x for Gaming, Sony have really good ANC headset in the game....
What’s a good headset for p5??
Can the headset be used while it's charging?
hyper x cloud II best budget headset and that Corsair is FIRE
Can you review ONE MORE QUAD DRIVER EARPHONES
I like how his shirt matches his hair
can i connect usbc and use as wired headphone when no battery?
One question is it only for PS5 or it work on PS4?
The mic quality turns this way down from an instant buy. If it were even a decent sounding mic it would have been an instant buy but it sadly sounds like a Turtle Beach from 10 years ago and that's a pretty big insult. I would love to know if I can change the mic capsule if I know how to tinker and solder.
The thumbnail makes you look like a kid on Christmas break with ear muffs and a popsicle.
I have the HS80 wireless. It's the best ever. except for the battery life is just short of what i need, and one of the ear cups is breaking down..
Sony or logitech g pro x for home tv, little games? :D
why dont you compared the mic with GSP 670 ??
Top 3 wireless audio without the Audeze Penroze?
Can you guys do a comprehensive comparison of Surround Sound headsets? Both Virtual and not virtual surround?
Hope In the next head set they make the mic removable and make the head set look aesthetic for more personal life use cus I would really like to buy this but I don’t wanna be walking around with a mic and huge ass ear cups
It’s not for personal life it’s for gaming console and pc get beats or Bose for your personal life
I wonder how these would compare to the Drop PC38x. Thoughts anyone? I need a good headset for both work and play
Arctis Nova Pros.
I like the it’s user friendly for glass wearers
for PS5 users... this headset is great if all you need is a volume up and down button,,, it's awesome for people that hate messing with bass, treble, or any eq settings because there is none. if you hate your own voice then this is perfect because you can barely hear yourself with the mic monitoring at full volume. the best part is (don't quote me on this) it must be made from biodegradable materials because 'within a year' this headset will self disintegrate and it'll have you back walking around in the store shopping for another one.
How do you play tarkov with no spatial audio.
32 hours of battery bad?
That makes no sense. The more battery life, the better. That's just my opinion. I'm using the Corsair XT and that only last for 20 hours.
@@grimdicer152 I find 32 hours enough. I don’t know why he says its bad. Seems to be throwing shade where ever he wants.
@@GhostofCam his main complaint was it gives no warning audible when it's low.. seems dumb to not do so
Is it possible you do the JBL quantum 810s. They seem better then the H9
SOMEONE IS BAGGING AROUND 😏😏😏😏
Hmm interesting, i didn't expect to see a Sony gaming headset
Sony already makes popular audio peripherals so this isn’t too much of a stretch
@@stang9806 well i already have the MDR z1r, but i figured they would put more focus on high end audio stuff :3
As far as I'm aware Sony wants to get more into Gaming stuff in the future. First Gaming product I see from them & I hope to see way more of them, since I pretty much love their often uniquely designs & quality of their products.
@@ThirAilith yea 100% agree. They manufacture the majority of the components as well.
@@ThirAilith nope it's not about gaming. They want to get into ESPORTS. It's why they bought EVO and are doing monitors etc. It's all about the exploding esports scene.
What’s a good headset for p5 no echo
8:05 You should've said that you know when you aren't really INZONE
Should i replace my arctis 9 with these because they are too uncomfortable for me?
The h3 is probably for me. Why did they skip 5 though?
H3 is noticably worse in everything, dont get it. Get the hs80 surround or the hs65, waaaaayyyy better
