I walked the front 9 by myself with Tiger's group on this day. One of the most memorable experiences of my life. His shot on the first par 3 created a crowd roar that I've never heard before.
More broadcasters need to make content like this available for those of us who cannot see it live - whatever that reason may be (exorbitant TV subscription costs for example). It's great to be able to watch it and if we're to encourage more people to take up the great game, then they need to be able to see it. This will help in my opinion.
People forget that Tiger was just FIVE shots from winning three straight majors during that stretch. He was T6 at Carnoustie (three shots back) , lone 2nd here (two shots back), and obviously won at Augusta. It was a solid nine months of sustained excellence with a body that was still far from 100%.

Thank you for sharing the tournament for those of us who missed it. As the announcers said, Tiger is healthy, he's again relevant,, the GOAT,, he is BACK!
I enjoyed watching this featured group format. I almost felt like I was out there following the group since you weren't cutting to Tiger or Gary just in time to show their shot and then cutting away to someone else like during the main broadcast. It gave a good feel for the rhythm of the round to see them hit every shot and every putt.
Being a Tiger fan isn’t living life vicariously through him. It’s drawing strength and hope from this champion, when life (and my golf game) gets tough. Thank you, Mr. Tiger Woods. You are human, and so you give us hope.
The Masters are nearly impossible to watch after the fact however... makes it feel more in the moment but unless you keep it on your DVR it’s just gone...
I'm reacting to this video the same way I did when Tiger played it in real time; hv to tell myself to calm down. Since we hv to shelter in place it's still great to watch. I'm having a ball!!! THE ONE AND ONLY TIGER 😊😊🐐🐅❤❤
Tyrice Lewis One of the greatest rounds of golf ever played - and the PGA Tour Live featured group coverage is second to none. I contend that his tee shot on 3 is one of the loudest reactions I’ve ever heard...
Watching him playing golf, it is real exciting and we would always be inspired by his outstanding technique getting off from trouble. His attitude is always positive, you feel you were him in the game and enjoy the competition with the others.
I can't help but feel good for TIGER at his recent victory. I was a bit emotional ...not so much at his win ..the guy is GREAT..it was only a matter of time before he won..AGAIN...but it was the REACTION of the thousands in attendance that got me...they were so elated for him...how they ran to cheer him. Tiger is still sooooo loved and I ABSOLUTELY feel happy for him. He's been through a tough time over the past five years. And now he's on the rebound Golf is better off for the guy. GOLF IS TIGER.
How close was he to winning ? 3 inches ! The lip outs at #1 and 14 and leaving it in the mouth at #11. Had those dropped he would have shot a 61, the lowest round ever in a major, and won by a shot. The golf world would be on fire right now.
Just amazing. What a round of golf! Ifs all over this round. Slight miss on first hole could have been a birdie. Birdie on hole where ball stops on the edge of the hole. One fairway made and he still shot minus 6 for the round. Take this effort, the British Open, the Tour Championship and the Masters, and he could have easily had four of his last seven tournaments won Just simply amazing.
Ashley, it's pretty hard to not put backspin on the ball. Golf without Tiger was like a 9 iron with no backspin. He is the reason for backspin and even playing backwards. Just an incredible dominance in backspinning.

Were you one who said he's never win another tournament? If so, this is all you've got left... unless he does... then you're sunk.... What he did this year is major... I certainly consider winning $3,000,000 in the Tour Championship major. As for you, nobody cares. Winning a golf tournament happens when you play well and nobody else plays better. It's an indirect competition meaning you cannot control another player's performance as you can in tennis, for example. The key is high performance which Tiger has shown in spurts and two tournaments. Bet your proposition at your peril.

I'm just getting into golfing...So I'm curious why they are using irons on hole 2 when they need to crush it 300 yards as the example showed before they tee'd off...
Hey! I just wanted to chime in with a quick answer... For a hole like #2, they're thinking through the percentage play. As in, what path to the green gives me the best chance to have a putt for birdie or at least make par? The hole is 400 yards and the Pros can drive it about 300ish yards safely. So if they hit it a full 300, they still have 100 yards in (unless they cut off some of the turn in the hole and leave themselves about 50 yards in). BUT you also have to consider what is "safest." Because they hit the driver so much further than the irons, there is more opporunity for mistake. So let's take a look at how Tiger played the hole. From the tee, he hit just about the riskiest/worst iron possible. If I had to guess, he was probably aiming 10-15 yards right of where he ended up. He was aiming for the middle left of the fairway with the intention of leaving himself about 120-130 yards to the green. If he had hit a driver, the *best* case scenario would be about 50 yards left to the green. And what happened with his shot? He hit it dangerously left, close to the water. If he had hit a driver, the ball would've gone significantly further and ended up in the water (bad). Also, if he hit the ball dead straight with the driver, he would landed in the bunker (bad) and if he hit it right, he would be in the trees (bad). In essence, he hit the iron because he knew that the worst possible scenario (because there is less error on clubs that go shorter) is that he would be somewhere in the fairway. The worst possible scenario for the driver is water, bunker, or trees. By playing the "safer" club, he was able to minimize risk and put himself in a spot he felt comfortable hitting to the green,. The Pros are incredibly good at shots around 100ish yards to Tiger knew that if he could get himself in that spot, birdie or par were within reach. (I genuinely don't know why I typed out this much but I hope this helps, random internet stranger)
