Its 97. You should check out ‘Us’ from that album. Its epic. Also the recording session for it is amazing/ hilarious with her belting it out the window of a limo whilst leaving the studio 🤣
I absolutely love this song. Her emotion and tone is what makes these songs sound so easy to the ears. She is the greatest female vocalist in pop music.
this song is a cover from 1958... and Celine recorded it in 1997 and totally made HER OWN.... it's one of my favorite song from that album ❤ thank you for this reaction! you should check also Just A Little Bit Of Love!!!
This song was first recorded in 1976..covered by Leo Sayer in 1977...Julio Iglesias in 1990...Rod Stewart in 1996.... One reviewer referenced it as...."A sliver of redemption is found in the passable version of Leo Sayer's “When I Need You”". Not exactly Celine making it her own.
@@maicon.93 You're wrong. Period. From Wiki : ""When I Need You" is a popular song written by Albert Hammond and Carole Bayer Sager. Its first appearance was as the title track of Hammond's 1976 album When I Need You. Leo Sayer's version, produced by Richard Perry, was a massive hit worldwide, reaching number 1 on the UK Singles Chart for three weeks in February 1977 after three of his earlier singles had stalled at number 2." Not a word about 1958. Celine covered the song. Period. Who gives a rat's ass how she "interpreted" it. She didn't make it her own.
@@Coowallskythat's exactly what I said... she covered... Do you know how to read and interpret a sentence? And she copied no one in the way of singing it... if it's a new interpretation, it's her own... now if you don't like her, it's your problem. Now let me use your agressive way of pointing your opinion: who the hell gives a shit about you?
@@maicon.93 It's STILL a cover. Period. She embellished it. Nothing new. BTW, where is your cite to prove it was a cover from 1958? Will you be sending that? Perhaps the video? Can do? WILL DO? Keep flailing...it's comical. 🤣
@@Mntguy-nr9vlIt matters because many of us appreciate how each live performances are a tiny bit different from each other and how she tackles notes a bit differently from the studio version. We all know it's still her voice in the end, but it's not a one-take so there tends to be more risky vocals in a studio performance. Anyway, like Edilmar pointed out, it's 1997, so her live version would've been pretty close anyway, but she likely would've gone a bit creative in the climax to make it safer to perform.
It's always a special moment to watch your videos, what I have been doing for many years. Have you ever heard Eva Cassidy? An Angel with a voice from heaven that left us too soon😢 Her cover of Songbird is breathtaking and gives you goosebumps. And Over the Rainbow.💜
Sad she never sang this live at any point (not moaning about this actual tv performance lol), but this video is great to watch (instead of just listening to the album track) because she looks gorgeous!! 😍🥰 miss you Celine. This was from the 97 Let's Talk About Love album - yep the Titanic time lol
She's truly a lip syncing queen, it's almost as if she were singing it!!! anyways, she still sang the hell out of her live too, it's just because it was for a TV show that needed to be lipped
This little angel has had to bury her niece, her brother, her father and her husband The only man she was ever with. Now she's living with one of the most horrible debilitating awful diseases that I've ever seen and from her sister's account not doing well to the point where she cannot take care of her own children anymore with no cure. I just love her so much and I miss her voice.
It’s lipped, but I must say beyond being the best singer to have ever lived (in my opinion), she is also one of the greatest lip syncers ever. She is so good at it lol
She has that blue-eyed soul voice. Majestic! She, Mariah, & Whitney are the best female voices of their generation. 👏🏼
Completely agree and if you don't mind I woud add to that list the Phenomenal
LARA FABIAN !!!💙💙👋👋👋
Her eyes are brown lmao

One of the greatest voices of all time❤❤❤
Yep, and we're not recognizing those lists that love to bash her.
It is pre-recorded because it was televised! But exactly like you said, it’s still her voice. Extremely impressive!!
Your reactions are so genuine and awesome. How you appreciate our greatest performers. Thank you. ❤️

If you want sensual Celine, “If Walls Could Talk” is worth checking out.
Ow i'd like to see his "If Walls Could Talk" Celine is good at acting too
That’s one of my favorite songs she ever did. Shania Twain and her husband wrote the song. Shania did backing vocals too.
@@razrv3lc - Shania Twain and her ex husband Mutt Lang wrote it.
Ok.. this was lipsynced, but we all know that Céline could sing like that in 1997
