I usually bring in 50k but only have tax liability on 20k (which is next to nothing) due to mileage and other deductions. In 2022 I paid in NOTHING and actually got a $1,300 REFUND due to having Obamacare and got a tax credit for that.
My acceptance rate is 20%. You are not out to do charity work you’re trying to turn a profit. And you have to have a fuel efficient vehicle to do so. Also, if people can’t tip at least $5 I’m not taking the offer. My time is valuable and I won’t discount it for fools.
For a mere Hood Dawg you do very important work even when you just driving on U.S 41.Uber Eats is very expensive and not meaningful work for delivery people.

Im glad you stopped using them a they are horrible. However you don't know that a driver stole your food that's just what you're assuming. There's no way to know what happened. Phone could have died, service went out, restaurant or uber cancelled, got lost and frustrated, restaurant didn't have the order, app fail, etc.
@@First-q6l No the restaurant said the order was picked up by an Uber Eats driver but the food was never delivered to our house. They told us it happens all the time with drivers stealing people's food. I will never use them again
I started working Uber Eats, never passengers, part time, in 2020. I'm in Jacksonville. Unfortunately, that's the way it is up here, too. Around $10. Ii used to be better, but IMO because of massive inflation, people just aren't eating out as much anymore.

So you accept a ride then when your getting to the restaurant, for her it was mcdonalds, the customer calls and claims they are with uber support and they ask you to verify yoir email then they tell you to check your phone for a confirmation code, they basibasically use the forgot password option to get into your account and add their bank to cash out your earnings. They did it on a sunday. Just a heads up.
EVERYONE knows that. 🙄 Uber and DoorDash have it written all over the app to not give away your information to ANYONE. If “your girl” doesn’t know how to read, maybe send her to some night classes.
There are so many door dash drivers in Lakewood ranch that they couldn’t let us drive according to their email. And literally yes its over Saturated with drivers here.

95% of uber eats in south florida are $3-5 offers to go 10 miles
Some people don’t deserve to have their food delivered. This is why pizza chains started including a mandatory delivery fee/ tip for drivers.
Back when I was younger and delivered pizza for a little bit. I hated delivering to the nicest biggest house. Because they weren't tipping

They don’t face drivers most orders I get request a contactless delivery. I’ve noticed people wait behind the door until I start driving off.

People also tip bate. They remove the tip after delivery. Ubers fault for reopening the tip option for them to change it.
Doing deliveries stop and go you get like 12-14 mpg in that 2.7L.

Lakewood Ranch is much better than the west side of Bradenton in my experience.
I am not informed on uber nor have I used uber....So do uber drivers get paid ONLY by tips and if no one tips drivers receive nothing???
