  • In this tutorial I will show you how to crochet this really sweet square for blankets and afghans. The pattern will look amazing when joined up!
    It’s similar to my other square but a little smaller and only 3 rounds.
    You will need DK yarn and a 4mm crochet hook.
    Although you can use any yarn or hook to make these.
    Have fun with this one! Nora 🤗❤️

      Hi it’s exactly the same as the last round. All you need to remember is the corner colour is always the same and you will have 6 more dc of the side colour

    Very beautiful pattern. I’ve just have a question on how you particularly join your squares.??

    • @CrochetByNora
      @CrochetByNora  Месяц назад

      Hi thank you! Im afraid a bit of work involved. But I joined my
      Corners using the darker yarn with a needle then joined all the cream in one go. Using the whip stitch. If anyone can suggest any other ways that would be helpful ❤

      🤔any ideas anyone? I was thinking maybe a whip stitch aand join all the side edges first? If you put 4 squares together in a square and sew all the sides then in the middle join the corners in the corner colour? ❤️

    Has anyone tried this with worsted weight ? And has anyone tried making the squares bigger? How big?

  • @staceywilson5232
    @staceywilson5232 3 месяца назад

    I’ve made several of these. I’m not sure how to explain this, mine are a little wavy looking. I’m not sure if it’s caused by the yarn. My stitch count is the same as yours. Also I haven’t blocked them yet so maybe they will flatten out and lay correctly. Could my stitches be too tight? Wish I could post a picture.

    • @CrochetByNora
      @CrochetByNora  3 месяца назад

      oooh im not sure! wavy? could be when you are carrying the yarn through you have pulled it too tight? try and keep a looser hand and see if that makes any difference? good luck

    If you continue too long with carrying the yarn instead of cutting wouldn't it waste yarn ?

    • @CrochetByNora
      @CrochetByNora  3 месяца назад +1

      I think for the small squares there’s not much wastage. If you are doing a larger blanket and continuing then yes cut the yarn. Plus you don’t want to drag it so far corner to corner. However there will be more ends to tie in. X
