Huawei products have always been up there with the best of them, but the lack of official Google services is such a deal breaker for so many people. I still think if Huawei hadn't had the US ban they'd have become the number one worldwide electronics manufacturer and I'm convinced this is morew what worried the US rather than any security issues.
Yes I bought a Huawei fitness watch, as my first fitness watch, and it was an absolute nightmare to get working with my Android phone. I'm not sure why he recommends them, as when they work, brilliant, when they don't work, they're a ball breaking mess of weeks spent looking for a fix, trawling online for anyone with the same issue. I returned the watch, and got one android compatible, and that was the experience I was looking for. Reliable and consistent.
People focus on hardware way to much. Whats the use of a F1 car when the drivers are shit? same goes for android software not being optimized for each device and also not having the best apps when it comes to stylus support so no android tablet can match a ipad to be honest,
