Hard to believe its been 20 years since this game dropped. I had this game back in 2003 when it first came out and would play it with friends and family for days and days. the japanese mario kart is awesome looking btw. nice vid
I used to dislike Double Dash because it was different than the other entries, and I'm resistant to change at times. But these days, I like it because of that same reason, it stands out, and it's a lot of fun. And there's the importance of giving things a second chance! Great upload as usual, buddy.
Hey Man I miss the commentary you did for your old videos just wondering if you have any plans on bringing it back in the future? Thank you and appreciate the content!
I often notice people on the "Super Group" Nintendo groups on Facebook insist that people should use CRT screens for old games, and I think one big reason why they do that is because modern screens give an unfair misleading impression of what old games actually looked like; people who didn't grow up with CRT screens will see those old games on the modern screens and be like "ugh! they look so grainy and pixelated!", and then assume that this is what they always looked like, but that is _incorrect._ A CRT screen is kind of like a smoothing filter, where the relatively small screen size and the scanlines give the games a rounded and soft pleasant look.

I would always play this as a kid after school. So many memories here. Thanks for the video.
