J S Bach: Gigue from French Suite No.5 in G: BWV 816

Bach's French Suite No. 5. in G (BWV 816) was originally composed for the harpsichord in 1723, for Anna Magdalena to play, his second wife; she must have been a very skilled keyboard player. All six French Suites comprise dance movements from different countries, and this Gigue, a French dance, becomes extrovert and sparkling in Bach's hands.
