Cockatoos are pretty decent in cities too. Most australian cities have a lpt of native plants and trees around. So their natural food is still available espiecially in the suburbs. Aussie cities and suburbs are also remarkably close to complete wilderness.

You don't think of birds having expressions but they really do - that one at the end was more than just "smiling" - he was saying "I m really glad I found this temporary perching place which has this funny long cold slippery branch which isn't quite as nice as back home but the lady, who we weren't sure about to begin with, has turned out really nice and not only lets us use her roosting tree but even gives us food and talks to us and pets us! Who would have thought?!"❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I just love our birds here in Australia.... I'm so glad these little ones have made friends with you. They're clearly comfortable with having you around. So lovely to see and very special. People probably think I'm nuts, but I will talk to the native birds. I think they do listen too and respond.
Beautiful loving birds ❤️
Yes, they're Gorgeous, loving birds, and they look GORGEOUS on your balcony!
UR AN INCREDABLE PERSON TO UNDERSTAND WHAT THEIR GOING THROUGH !
This is where they belong free and with their own. They don't belong in someone's house or in a cage. They are so intelligent, beautiful and clannish.
I would be in heaven. They're such sweet birds, incredibly loyal and loving.
This is absolutely beautiful! ❤
❤ Wow, you are obviously a very special person. All those gorgeous, intelligent and playful birds chose you as their new best friend / Momma and your home as their home. I am so glad you were able to overcome your original fears and embrace the gift of their presence in your life!! I am so happy for you and them ❤❤❤
They're wild but you're their home now 💝
They're very social. Mine will yep at me when he sees me outside. They love love. At least you don't have to take them to regular vet visits, and you can just enjoy them at your leisure. ❤
Well done you, I think I would have been very worried too.!! So you offering them an almond , it's like offering an olive branch as we say!! Lucky cockatoos !! Lucky you. So sweet
The one that shyly took the almond from your hand was so cute! I wanted to touch his fluffy feathers! I wish these unique types of birds would come to my home as well. 🤍
Awwwww!! I was just about to ask why on earth they would all flock to a balcony in the city (I also didn't realize where this was) and when she said the Australia fires, my heart sank, but I understood. I'm glad they found a better paradise and she is helping them!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I believe They’re native to Australia,
I see them all the time & I saw one the other day
They are a native Australian bird, we also have black cockatoos, which are bigger than these guys. These are sulphur crested cockatoos. Not just bush fires are doing this to them. We are forcing them into cities because we are destroying their homes with greed. These guys are also known to be very destructive and omg the noise is LOUD.
Some city-dwelling flocks also have worked out how to open the lids of wheelie bins to find "food". 😅
Cockatoos are pretty decent in cities too. Most australian cities have a lpt of native plants and trees around. So their natural food is still available espiecially in the suburbs.
Aussie cities and suburbs are also remarkably close to complete wilderness.
That's so cool and sweet at the same time...☮️☮️☮️💜💜💜
I would absolutely love to have a bunch of beautiful birds visit me! It would be amazing! What a lucky lady!
You're so lucky to be blessed with such guests.
Glad you provided them a safe place to be.
Love cocky's - but they can be a bit destructive, pulling out gap insulation & other stuff on buildings. They are so curious, they find stuff to amuse themselves ;)
So pretty 🤩
A standing ovation for the people downstairs
Thank you for having a big heart and opening up your space for the birds it means more than you'll ever know!
It's more like they chose her and her space. They felt safe and she made them feel safe, that's why they chose to keep coming back to her balcony. ❤️
,U R SO LUCKY 2 HAVE THESE UNIQUE BIRDS COME 2 VISIT EVERY DAY. MOST PEOPLE NEVER HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE. LUCKY U 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🤩😍
Thank you for looking after these precious birds who were displaced by bushfires. 💜
Balcony covered in #hit.....washed down to lower levels with the hose. Yes, adorable.
Wow) incredible story!
May God bless you for helping innocent & speechless birds! 🐦 🙏
My grandmother loved these birds 💖 R.I.P my angel
Teach them all to talk.
They are beautiful, sweet. Nothing scary about them. How blessed you are...I feel sad for these sweet birds...with losing their environment 😢 Love ❤️ in truest form
I'm loving this!
Redefines Alfred Hitchcock's old film, in a really good way.
Girl. You are literally chilling with the rarest species of cockatoo. The Yellow-crested Abbott cockatoo….
Its called a Sulpher Crested Cockatoo.
That is not the rarest species lololol
@@ThePhilandy1 ^
@@ThePhilandy1 to be fair, the cockatoo she's talking about is closely related to sulfur crested cockatoos and ARE critically endangered. They look JUST like sulfur crested (Cacatua galerita) but they're smaller (yellow-crested, Cacatua sulphurea).
My friend had a cockatoo of this species before she got him he'd been beaten hard he had been spray painted many different colors I'm not entirely sure whatever happened to that bird pretty sure he just passed away but his name was shilfty he was pretty okay at flying but sucked at landing
You have to have to have to start making more videos with them, the personalities you'll get out of each and every one of them will be awesome and we can all enjoy them thanks to you.
Oh, that would be lovely 💕
Best way to keep pets. Not in a cage, no chain, they come and go as they please.
They are such loving birds, they love to cuddle with humans. Take good care of them 🙏🏻❤️✨
You lucky, blessed Lady. Thank you for sharing. 😊😊
Wow! I loved them... Its a stressed reliever... feeding them is fun ...
Even though i'm from a part of Australia that has a massive Cockatoo population, i still can't help but to stare at them, such beautiful birds
Fabulous birds! ❤❤❤ You are SOOOOOO fortunate! 👍👍👍👍And what a view!!
Cockatoos are such goofy little dudes, I love them so much 🥰
You must have some really peaceful vibes for them to come to you like that.❤
Might have just been a noise ploaying on her TV as they were flying past made them curious.
Or they smelled food and her outside door was ajar.
@@mnomadvfx really?? You couldn't have just gone with the peaceful vibes 🙄🙄🙄
@@despicabledavidshort3806 no because that shit is fake, i would rather a real explanation, than some spiritual bullshit.
Nothing peaceful about a cockatoo. 😂
@@despicabledavidshort3806 I KNOW RIGHT! 🥴🙄
OMG Just Wow Cuteness Overload And They're All So Beautiful And Too Cute Together 😍💖🥰😘🤗✨️
Ohhhh, soooo lucky is this woman. What a bless. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
