That's wild I was actually looking at my alcantara today and wondering how to go about cleaning it. I searched youtube and stumbled across a video you made over a year ago using this product. Got this stuff upon your recommendation to use on the Recaro bucket seats in my RS, honestly they look and feel better than new!! Great stuff, definitely recommend giving the fabric a light vac later on as that makes all the difference.

Used it on my c6z alcantara wheel which was matted and had over 30k miles on it and was amazing on how it brought the material back to life.

I’m thinking about buying some Sonax for the wheel on my C6Z. Does it still keep the wheel back to life even after a year or so?

Sonax recommends a brush something like a soft horsehair so it lifts the fibers more. I have tried foam, MF rags and horse hair brushes.. the horse hair brush works the best buy far.

I have a Honda Civic Type R. Alot of Alcantara on the interior. The armrest is already pretty dirty. Should be a nice test for this product.

Love the M Performance electronic wheel! I have one too and it’s a nice piece.

Best thing to get is a soft bristled nylon brush, like to be used on shoes. And brush the Alcantara/suede after you rub in the product.

This is a great product and the only cleaner that should be used with suede. I have a review on my channel as well but with limited experience on damaged seats I'm not too worried about. Thanks Matt!

I tried 3-4 other alcantara cleaners and they all had their problems. i could not believe that the cheap(in germany) Sonax stuff works so well. 100% happy with the sonax cleaner, glad i watched your video about this one.

I used this stuff on my E63s steering wheel ,it was matted down so bad and I cant believe how dirty it really got ,it was disgusting , Sonax worked great and fluffed up again, I prefer a leather steering wheel any day over Alcantara, It feels like I’m driving with a shirt wrapped around the wheel and it just holds way to much dirt and oil

I use a suede shoe brush to 'fluff' up any alcantara surface. Obviously get a new brush, not the same one for your suede shoes.
