Is A-levels more hard as compared to matric?

Hi I have shifted from matric to A levels recently and i would say A levels is quite different from matric syllabus and type of material to be tested on. But it do depends on the board you did matriculation too , in my case my exam board was aga Khan university examination board (akueb) which basically had no text book endorsed to be tested upon and we basically consulted a list of topics from igcse / o level books and we were tested conceptually based on a list of topics not a text book and the questions could be from anywhere so yeah to some extent I do felt like I had what it takes to do A levels cuz it's mostly self research based and very conceptual and if u know the art of answering the questions you can do it.
I was discouraged by some schools that I can't do it but I finally secured an admission in one and my classes are starting in August .
I would advise you that if u want to do A levels , no matter with which background you are coming from you should search ur subjects online on RUclips and watch videos of some topics to be prepared before hand and try doing some past papers to get the idea of how it's like.
Even igcse students struggle at A levels and I have researched that doing igcse or o levels doesn't necessarily train you to ace A levels . So I would highly recommend to keep ur chin up if u want to shift to A levels and be prepared before hand.
On what I have researched maths is the subject that you might need to have a previous igcse level knowledge too to excel in it but all A level courses are very advance than igcse so it just requires hard work and compassion to get in

Hi @@fia5939! Thank you for sharing your experience. Can you share which school you're doing your A-levels from? Also did you get your admission on your matric result or entry test?
