As a former attorney for a port authority, I'm responding to one of your "shorts." The reason most ships do not remain in port is because they pay dockage per linear foot per hour. More hours means more $$$. Your reasons about selling more liquor, etc., are true, too. You must keep in mind that ships have assigned berths depending on the draft (depth under the water) and most have contracts. So, you generally must vacate so the next ship can come into port on time the next morning.
I love these videos, I have learned alot,,very interesting for someone like myself that has never been on these cruise 🛳,,,,,,was so cool to be shown around, look forward to all your new videos for 2024,,thanks for sharing
While I enjoy your videos, please do them in a horizontal mode. that's the standard format. TV, movies, other videos etc. You're a pro now. Do it like the pros do.
I stumbled on your videos and I was instantly hooked, so many questions answered but so many new questions pop up, like where is home for you, are you going to be doing more videos while you're off the ship
I just found your channel and literally binged all your videos. I'm terrified of water so was very nice seeing what life is like on a cruise ship since I will never be on one or near the ocean.
I just checked out cruise compass and you will be on our ship March 16th on odyssey of the seas! I’ve watched all your RUclips shorts and am excited to see you play some music. See you in 24 days! Cheers
Hi, I don't know if you'll get this, but on a short you asked about how to decorate your cabin. I always bring a photo backdrop with me that I hang up with magnets. Good luck.
Hey, I'm about to start my journey as a musician too. In my case, we're a duo. Do we have individual cabins each? And sorry, I need to ask: how much do you make in general on ships? Thanks.
I’m curious: if a crew member has to regularly take medications, is there a special way for them to get it filled, or do they just wait until they’re back in port in the US and take some time off the ship to hit up a pharmacy?
The doctors office on board has a lot of medication, they might have some on board. If very specific they might order it in if discussed with hiring company, but I've only heard of that happening once, crew have to pass medical fitness tests, if the crew member is at risk not taking medication for a prolonged period of time they may be deemed unfit Always recommend talking to your doctor or pharmacist to get at least a few months worth.
Bro my friend is was working as a crew member on carnival celebration cruise... I need to send her a parcel 📦...how do I do it.. can you please help me with the address I need to post it to
So, you automatically move into a room without it being thoroughly cleaned by staff? No wonder so many people catch COVID and stomach bugs! I'm sure glad I don't go on ships.
New ship, slightly different position! Gonna be performing but as a solo guitarists in a pub onboard. Before this I was in a band singing in a country bar. 🤠
Thanks for the message! I've never made a Facebook account, those were always just people stealing the videos. I'm sure they've made a pretty penny off me :)
Hii. Is there a way to message you? I just have a bunch of questions about working on a cruise ship. Like what's your job, what kind of ecprience do you need to do it, how did you get into it, etc... Can i send an email?

The compactness of everything reminds me of living in Japan

What do tide pods have to do with being a musician?!
Hey, I'm about to start my journey as a musician too. In my case, we're a duo. Do we have individual cabins each?

Enjoy your vacation 🎉 which Ship you are going for next contract?
I’m curious: if a crew member has to regularly take medications, is there a special way for them to get it filled, or do they just wait until they’re back in port in the US and take some time off the ship to hit up a pharmacy?
Good question maybe if you know how long you will be gone have your doctor fill ahead of time so like a 3 month supply
The doctors office on board has a lot of medication, they might have some on board.
If very specific they might order it in if discussed with hiring company, but I've only heard of that happening once, crew have to pass medical fitness tests, if the crew member is at risk not taking medication for a prolonged period of time they may be deemed unfit

is there a way to get a ship board job without a covid vaccine?
or what shots are approved that aren't mrna/american
I would get vaccinated. People get Covid A LOT living on a cruise ship.
Love your vids but dont leave open mouthwash for another.
The Listerine was new and still had the seal on it. It was unused and unopened.
