  • Welcome to my review of the Gretsch G2210 Streamliner Junior Jet Club. Despite only costing $299.99, this is one of my very favorite guitars...period. I purchased this guitar in the summer of 2020 with my own money and I absolutely love it. #gretsch #guitar #music

    I have a gretsch g2210 now for a year. And I had to have an original gretsch case for it.
    I cannot flaw any of it. It was a great purchase. The binding on the neck is fabulous.

      Their guitars in this line are fantastic. After two years I still love mine.

      @@jonathancalhoun4853 if Gretsch manages to stay alive in the storm that is coming I have no doubt this guitar will be a mainstay.
      The people crafting these necks they have customshop level skills.

    I've got a g2210 vintage white for ¥33,000 (about $253) the day before yesterday (2023.3.1). Mine is very powerful and has guts in the sound. I have 6 electric guitars but now this is my favorite!

    Got this guitar on november, in the last year, after watching this review you did. The sound is pretty good, the colours are awesome and it has an awesome sustain. The only not-so-good-thing about the guitar (at least mine) is that it can't stay in tune for a long time... Is this happening to you? Cheers!

      This one stays in tune very well. I have another one with a P90 in the neck and it does not stay in tune as well as this one. It seems they vary a bit in quality.

      @@LowStressFTW I also should add for me putting some graphite in the nut slots for the guitar that didn't stay in tune as well seemed to help. I think the issue was with the nut for mine.

      The 2210 I got was a floor demo so it my have been setup in the store but I've had no problems with mine .
      I do plan on switching to higher end tuners though.

      Also...maybe try a little graphite in the string slots on the nut.
      This has helped me before with unexplained tuning issues
      Worth a try maybe.

    Thanks for the review. Good job. Question, does the guitar’s intonation come set?

    • @jonathancalhoun4853
      @jonathancalhoun4853  3 года назад

      Thank you very much. It comes with a lightning bolt style bridge and the intonation has been good on mine with 10-46 gauge strings.

    I’m thinking of getting one myself since all the reviews are really good. The bridge is definitely an issue but if I get it I would just replace it for an adjustable one.

      It is still one of my favorite guitars and one of the few I’d never think of selling.

    nice one brother!
    you could look into the "bad---s" adjustable wrap-around bridge.....if it will fit onto the posts...
    i recently got a harley benton dc "fat" single p90ish ferris blue model and it has the "bad--s" bridge on it...thing sounds great!

    Your description of the 3 way switch indicates it is faulty and I think that might get worse. I'd have it fixed under warranty if convenient or replace it if that's the easier way to go.

    Hi, I’m new to electric guitar and am looking at this one. Do they hum plugged in even when they’re not being played. If they do I think that would annoy me.

    • @jonathancalhoun4853
      @jonathancalhoun4853  2 года назад +1

      I've not had any problems with nose with this one. The humbuckers are pretty quiet on this guitar.

    • @joeladams2540

      I agree
      These pickups are pretty quiet.
      If I ever do have a buzz it turns out to be somewhere between the guitar and the amp
