I completely agree with everything you’ve been saying I am much older than you and through the 80s there were so many great artists out there that we all will never forget. I particularly love this song because in so many ways it is biblical and I am a follower of Christ

Remember one other thing, Kerri and I thought this song represented what you were for us when she was struggling with her abdominal issues. YOU WERE OUR ANGEL 😇. Your advocacy and willingness to put yourself out there in such a vulnerable way to help others also is something that qualifies YOU as an angel.

I love this song. Always have since I heard it when I was a kid
The singer knows he’s in Hell (Land of the Morning Star) but has this almost rebellious hope for salvation. It’s what every power ballad wants to be. This song has comforted people lost to live and played at funerals too. Sublime and haunting. Fantastic choice to react to.
