There is an alternate ending that is bonkers, where after a Prehistoric Tweety eats the villain, Damian says: “So dad, this is Kate we haven’t kissed yet or anything. We don’t really get along and we have virtually nothing in common.” Kate: “This could be the one.” That line fixes everything. The love story in this was done so awkwardly that nobody could tell if it was intentionally bad or not. This ending not only says that it was intentional, but is making fun of how little chemistry romantic leads often have in adventure movies. It suddenly made what was mostly painful to sit through a nice bit of trolling on the audience.
@awesomeyou6815 It's on youtube. Go to the video titled: Looney Tunes Back in Action Deleted Scenes the video is over twenty-four minutes long. Go to 16:28 for the alternate ending.
Before famed cartoonist Chuck Jones died in 2002, At least he acknowledged this film as faithful to the original source material that was Looney Tunes. He wasn’t a fan of Space Jam in 1996 and sadly he didn’t live to see Back in Action completed, but he did witness animation production of it.
Fun Fact: on the movie lot chase, There was going to be an Animaniacs cameo of The Warner Siblings with scenes that featured the WB WaterTower but it never came to pass the stages of production.
Which sounds crazy givin' Space Jam (1996) and Who Famed Roger Rabbit (1988) Even for the 80's it was good live action for its time.. so in 2003 for Back in Action, they could.only get better,
I remember having this movie also on DVD. For me, this was my generation of Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It was just so amazing seeing cartoon characters in a live-action world. I know not everyone’s a fan of this movie, but I think there are some moments to appreciate. The action is fun, the story is a pretty interesting, and some of the jokes actually work. (My favorite joke was Matthew Lillard talking to Shaggy and Scooby-Doo. That was so clever, I loved it. 😅)
It is rare that this film gets reviewed while Space Jam gets most of the reactions. I'm glad that a favorite reactor of mine was able to see this! Happy Thanksgiving, Tim! Hopefully more reactors can see this one...
Naturally, Space Jam was done first. Probably also because the story is better in Space Jam... Everyone understands ssthe plot, where as Back in Action.... it goes off the rails for. most of it... The main takeaway is everyone remembers from this is "turning into moneys" and :"the diamond" That's it. and I guess the spy car... but basically for 1 hour or so, your confused.
@@Tech-geeky I fully agree with your points. It's just that it's also lovely to see this movie, the latter, being reacted to since it's often missed. It also remains a guilty pleasure for me.
@@Tech-geekyto be fair, back in action was somewhat of a hectic shoot with Joe Dante constantly bunking heads with the studio heads and he pretty much had NO creative control WHATSOEVER.
This Looney Tunes film is pretty good. My favorite scene is when Bugs and Daffy are being chased by Elmer throughout the art museum and that they are affected by the various art pieces. Also, Happy Thanksgiving to you, Tim! 🦃🍁🍽️
Even though I grew up with "Space Jam" more as a kid, I also grew up watching "Looney Tunes: Back in Action" I was such a Looney Tunes kid back in the day.
Yeah, but me and my dad saw it and he hasn’t seen it in for like a long time since he was a kid too But that’s why they need to make a Looney Tunes back in action too because the whole point of the second one would definitely be them time traveling but Like in the whole second area where they can go back in time, but they don’t know that they would like Time travel in the past kind of so it makes sense
Only because then like if they time travel, then they have to add like Mickey Mouse and who framed Roger rabbit because it would be like a whole framed Roger rabbit two movie, kind of and it would totally be really good Just like that this is why they need to make a who framed Roger rabbit too next year as well even though that was another really good movie and then that they need to add the other characters that we got to saw at the end of who framed Roger rabbit, one and like more of their back stories too, including a bunch of other Disney characters, such as Winnie the Pooh and tigger tooo just because then it would definitely make me say aw and maybe they would even think about. I’m not even sure that this would probably be possible but like adding Ben 10 in it too because then maybe. It would tell of like more of his other stories too. Maybe you never knew with my kind of questions though.
Back when i was a kid watching this movie i didn't know that the actor who played damien drake in this movie was Timothy dalton the man who played james bond in james bond movie the living daylights
OMG! Thanks so much for digging up this underrated gem, Timmy! I always loved how well they perfectly wrote Bugs and Daffy's relationship in this movie as rivals on and off-screen, but also surprisingly good team players when backed against a wall. Also, my favorite line has to be 21:16 - 21:20. I just love it when a character faced with death still only cares about their money.
1:10, yes. In fact, it was originally going to be called Spy Jam and co-star Jackie Chan and the Looney Tunes (and that was because they didn’t think starring Tiger Woods and the Looney Tunes in a movie about Golf would be a success)
That part with Scooby, Shaggy, and Matthew Lillard never stops making me laugh every time I watched this movie. But I also admire the character development between bugs and daffy too.
Such an underrated and under appreciated movie. If people would ask me if I watch SpaceJam, I would smoothly answer: “No, I watch Back in Action like an adult.”
thing is, basically any crap film you can say the same "its unrated", but until you see it, that changes their mids... Looks at "The Flintstones Movie" It didn't receive well either. buy I'm sure thanks to the plot, more will watch it.

It'll never forget when i first watched this movie on Cartoon Network. Thanks, Tim, a great childhood memory indeed. Have a happy thursday and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
As a kid, I never got the joke about Timothy Dalton playing an actor who plays a spy but he’s ACTUALLY a spy (mostly because I wasn’t aware of James Bond at the time. And that he was James Bond). But now rewatching it today (having watched his two bond films HIGHLY underrated btw) it’s much funnier.
This is another Loony toons/ Live action movie that is amazing 🤩 Everything about it is great like story and casting and camos too. I loved Brendon Frasier’d performance and Steve Martin was amazing as the villain 🖤Its also freakin hilarious 😆 and like the different movie references as well and who does not love Looney Toons when they all come together and interact with each other ❤️ Enjoyed the reaction Tim 😊😁👍👍
This, along with Space Jam, is a big guilty pleasure movie. Objectively, it's a mess where the plot makes barley any sense, and it's mostly just a lot of really random and incoherent "stuff" happening, but as a 2000s kid, I'll be damned if I don't have fun with it every time. There's a lot of lines from this movie I still quote to myself to this day. "Water! I can't die now! Think of the millions of children who want me to have the diamond!"
Tim I am Loving your reaction in the movie, It came out I was 2 years old, and I watch this it was aired on Cartoon Network in 2008, and this year I learned cartoon detail from your other videos.❤

The scene where Brendan Fraser and Daffy drive a race car is all that was left of Warner’s original concept for a Space Jam sequel, with NASCAR racers. We eventually got a Space Jam 2, but….that’s another story. How Warner treats the Looneys in this movie and on Max can best be summed up by the fact that this movie flopped in theaters just as the classic original toons were hitting DVD for the first time, and Warner moaned, “The public HATES the old toons! 😭”
Oh, I just like leaving cool comments and like Helping even if I’m not like on the Patreon pull , I just like helping with comments and figuring out which other movies that you should watch next other than the live action Clifford, the big red dog movie that and a couple other ones that I’ve mentioned to, including Ozzie as well

Nice reaction, I find this movie better than Space Jam since the cartoon characters act more like they are supposed to be in the original cartoons.
Agreed

Very underrated Joe Dante film and I think this Jerry Goldsmith last music score what he done.
27:55 Something tells me Timothee has never seen Daleks before.

Loved this movie when I was younger even with the video game too
5:26 The perfect summation of Warner Bros. under David Zaslav.
21:16 This line aged well. Too well.
(6:02) Ironic. Casey Kasem acknowledged Matt Lillard and bequeathed his role as Shaggy to him before he died in 2014.
Awesome reaction
The funny thing, in reality I think Daffy is more popular among the fanbase.
I think the brief non explanation at the end of this says it all 😆
Its wacky to the limit no one will understant the story..
The only 'Looney Tunes' movie released in cinemas which has no 'Space Jam' in the title.
Remember the next looney tunes original movie is tweety's high flying adventure(which is based on around the world in 80 days)
37:12 - 37:17 I love this reaction in this scene of movie 😂😂😂😂
Happy thanksgiving Tim
31:17 actually he wasn’t a baby bear he was actually the dad he’s just somehow shorter than his son and wife.
Wow, this is a throwback. It's a fun film.
