  • I built this custom bar cabinet with a storage cabinet, drawer, wine rack, and wine glass holder. The tall narrow design makes it ideal for small homes and spaces.

Really nice cabinet. The glass and the door and drawer without knobs are a perfect fit.

Well done! Such a handsome piece of furniture you have built.
I have been thinking lately on how my attitude towards my home bar has changed over the years. I think the one major style that changed is the display of my bar. There was a time when people never displayed their bottles; they just didn't. I found out why, the hard way. You would be amazed at what I have gone through.
Now, every bottle I own is in an enclosed cabinet. There is only 3 cases of glassware (for 2) on the bar cart. Not even a decanter is in view. Sadly, drinking at home is a personal, almost solitary, selfish act. If my wife and I want to entertain a few friends we have the means to do so. That is the only time a few bottles and the barware come out. We never have anything ready in case a party breaks out.

@Anikasdiylife nicely done. Nice to see you stepping out of your comfort zone.
Since you have a router...how about using dados instead of pocket holes for the shelves? A dado will give you more glue surface.
Working with glass can certainly be intimidating...I think I'll start smaller...lol

Nice. Look forward to more. I have this on my to-do list and so your video is very timely. The only difference in my head is would be nice to have a slide out platform where to make the drinks.
