Heath, Love this episode of the podcast. As you know you and I are close in age (I was born March 10th 1975) and being a geek due to being a heavy metal/hard rock fan, pro-wrestling, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica (original series), DC & Marvel, Flash Gordon (80s film), Knight Rider, Horror films…for those fandoms growing up as a kid could get you bullied. Now I don’t give 2 sh*ts what people thinking of the stuff I like and enjoy. Brian Krey is really awesome and loved hearing his feelings and thoughts about what was being discussed.

As a baby boomer who was born in 57, I saw these things slowly developing.

Great discussion. I was born in 1975 so I'm pretty much the same generation as you guys. I agree about the current comics out there. The only stuff I get issue after issue are the Energon Universe & the Conan series from Titan.

Always nice to see repeat offenders (i.e. guests) on the channel. Keep up the great work, both of you!

Kind of off topic, but you should do a video about the TV show Psych once you are done with it. I feel like it fits in well with alot of the other things the channel talks about, even though its a more modern show thats really underrated.

Hawkeye is one of my top 3 favorite Marvel characters and also remember there was a point during Infinity War and with Thanos wiping out half the universe….Clint quits being Hawkeye and ends up being a ninja assassin called Ronin.

I don’t know why, I thought 52 in DC was in reference to the number of new artists. But looking back that seems like a huge number. New 52 Batman was a solid series tho

Fun video! Suggestion for future video with Brian would be a discussion of various television collections offered by Alpha Video such as Topper, the Adventures of Fu Manchu, Space Angel, etc.

I tried some digital comics, but it just hasn’t clicked for me (despite that it would be really convenient for me). My biggest reason, honestly, though is that comics are my favorite thing to read in the bathroom and I’m not keeping my iPad in there. 😂

I am at a loss over why there is so much hate-watching. But some folks are doing it because they know that their video or article where they hate on that thing they just hate-watched will get lots of clicks. Pop culture discourse is getting very tiresome. Thank you for your honesty and your positivity.

When I lived up in the Catskills in New York, there were comic book shops, record/CD shops I moved to Norwalk CT in 2020 and there isn’t much of them here….there’s places in New Haven, Stamford & Bridgeport….probably because the location to NYC & New Jersey where there are tons of ‘em. I am not married or in a relationship don’t have kids so I’m able to purchase stuff for my collection.
